Not see out since July; possible excuses on both his starts to date (saddle slipped and short of room on latest start); not disgraced on either run and shaped as though step up in trip would suits; fair chance in this company.
Six-race maiden; best effort last time out at Listowel over 7f despite encountering traffic problem; has plenty of experience now and holds every chance on his best form.
Fairly consistent maiden but even on her two placed efforts she never looked like winning; however, she will be have been learning with each run and this race might not take too much winning; chances.
Well beaten and never nearer in four career efforts including when suffering a heavy defeat at the Galway festival last month. Hard to make a case for in current form.
Never disgraced in any of his racecourse appearances and showed his well being with a placed effort at Bellewstown late last month; as good as any in the line-up and open to improvement.
No real show on two racecourse appearances including last time out at Cork when finishing 13/17; too early to write off obviously but needs to step up her game to be a betting proposition here.
Another who has struggled on all her racecourse appearances; has been off the track since July and unless that has freshened her up, it is hard to see her being one of the leading contenders.
Daughter of Excelebration out of a Montjeu mare who showed little on her racecourse debut at Bellewstown late last month; entitled to improve but may be best watched today.
Had been showing signs of promise throughout the summer before disappointing last time out at Listowel; needs to bounce back from that run but her experience should put her in good stead in this contest.
Helmet colt twice changed hands for big money, hasn't lived up to price tag in six below-par starts since making his debut last October. Needs a sizable improvement but not without a chance.
Acclamation filly. Half-sister to three winners. Promising effort on second start at Naas over 1m last month before not getting the run of the race last time out at Cork; given a clear run she should hold every chance from inside draw.
Tailed off on latest effort and very difficult to recommend; plenty of equipment applied here may be the key but seems unlikely.
Home-bred gelded son of Elzaam. Dam an unraced daughter of Marju. Slowly into stride on debut before finishing down the field to be beaten 34L next time out. Much more needed.
Fair effort when placed at Wolverhampton in June in a similar race; a reproduction of that effort would give him decent place chances once again.

SILK AIR may be able to bounce back after encountering trouble in running last time out at Cork given the way she ran ran with so much promise at Naas the time before. She may be helped from her low draw if getting away cleanly at the start. Merricourt is another who suffered traffic probelms last time out and she could be to put her experience to use in a contest without many clear leading candidates. Pocotaligo is well regarded but has yet to show his undoubted promise on the racecourse. If the penny finally drops he should be capable of running close.
