Broke his maiden at the first attempt when he was on the right side of a close finish at Haydock (6f), scoring by a neck in a 10 runner contest. This longer trip is likely to help his chances of following up. Worth consideration.
Made a winning start to hie career when he prevailed at Thirsk over this distance earlier this month. Will need to concede weight to the majority of his rivals here, however, he should build upon debut success. Has a good chance.
Came home fifth of 11 on his debut at Carlisle (6f) after going off at 50/1. Stepping up in trip here where he is likely to improve on his opening showing, however, others make more of appeal.
Oasis Dream colt who was foaled on April 21. His dam was a winner over 1m1f with her most notable success coming in the Prix de Pomone. Interesting newcomer, especially if there is market support before the race.
Archipenko colt who was foaled on March 6 and cost 41,000 gns as a yearling. He is a half-brother to multiple winners, including Anna Medici who prevailed over 7f and Cote d'Azur who won at trips up to 1m2f. Likely to need this run.
Made a promising debut when he finished second of 10 at Thirsk (7f) beaten by a neck. He was staying on well at the end of the contest so expect him to improve here on his second appearance. Leading contender.
Has had three appearances on the track so far and he produced his best performance yet last time when he came home second of five over this trip at Musselburgh, beaten ½L. Remains open to improvement. One for the shortlist.
Finished sixth of 14 in a modest start to his career at York over 7f last month after going off at 33/1. Although he never threatened to be in the mix at the finish, he was stayed on well inside the last 2f. More can be expected here.
Casamento colt who was foaled on March 23 and cost £13,000 as a two-year-old. His dam won over 5f as a two-year-old and is a half-sister to 1m winner Officer Rocket. Best to watch on opening start on the track.
Made his debut on the AW at Newcastle (6f) where he finished second of 14 runners behind a smart colt. Stepping up in trip here which should help as he was doing his best work in the closing stages last time. One to consider.
Forecasts
Gift Of Kings (6/4), El Naseri (9/2), Duesenberg (6/1), Melody King (13/2), Gravity Force (8/1), Celestial Bliss (20/1), Get Boosting (20/1), Double D's (20/1), Got The T Shirt (28/1), Cassy O (50/1)
EL NASERI made a smart debut where he was only denied by a neck. The way he finished that race suggests there will be more to come now he has some experience on his side so take him to go one place better here. Gravity Force also can build on his encouraging opening run over this longer trip so expect him to be in contention inside the closing stages, while Get Boosting has to enter your calculations following his recent effort at Musselburgh where he took a huge stride forward.
- El Naseri
- Gravity Force
- Get Boosting
