Daughter of Camacho cost 42,000 gns as a yearling; a fourth foal and a half sister to sprint winners Wedding Date and Secret Potion. Market should provide best guide on debut.
65,000 gns Kodiac yearling out of Group 1 Cheveley Park stakes winner Carry On Katie. Third at Newmarket over 7f and filled the same place over the same trip when narrowly denied at Goodwood. Led on both occasions and a leading hope back in trip.
200,000gns yearling. Dam 6f and 7f (Listed) winner from good family. Missed the break over 6f on debut and was carried left when challenging a furlong out. Ran on well late for a close third and should only benefit for the run. Leading challenger.
Daughter of Oasis Dream out of a Galileo mare who won as a juvenile. Stable in hot form but she's bred to need a far stiffer in time. Others preferred on debut.
Kodiac filly fetched 80,000 gns as a yearling; a first foal to an unraced dam who is a half sister to sprint Group 1 winners Tangerine Trees and Alpha Delphini and Group 3 winner Kurious. Bred to be speedy and very much one to note in the betting.
Showed promise when third of 13, beaten around 4L on debut at Windsor (6f, good) on her debut but failed to build on that when perhaps the soft ground was against her at Haydock. May bounce back but more required.
Daughter of Slade Power and sixth foal to an unraced dam; a half sister to a couple of winners but doesn't really catch the eye on paper on debut.
Kingman half-sister to useful 1¼m-1m5½f winner Key Bid and 6f-1m winner Strictly Silca from a precocious and useful family. Hampered early when not disgraced on debut but she'd need to improve plenty from it in this company. Stable quiet at present.
Daughter of Dream Ahead has been unfancied and well held while failing to beat a rival home in two starts to date. Huge improvement needed.
Nicely bred Sharmardal filly, out of 1m French winner who also placed at Group level. Sets the standard on her narrow debut defeat but very disappointing when failing to settle subsequently. Drop in trip may help and not one to give up on yet.
Daughter of Cable Bay and an 11th foal; closely related to juvenile sprint winner On The Stage and a half sister to four winners. 20/1 and very well held on Salisbury debut and may need more time.
Daughter of Gutaifan cost €58,000 as a foal and 45,000 gns as a yearling. Green and had to switch on a couple of occasions in the run on debut. Could be a big improver but would need to in this company.
Forecasts
Esprit Rose (13/8), Thread Of Silver (7/2), Queen Of Silca (11/2), Call Me Katie (6/1), Jamaheery (8/1), Vintage Polly (16/1), Pretty In Grey (22/1), Amicia (40/1), Greek Oasis (50/1), Purple Power (66/1), Upstage (80/1), Sea Willow (100/1)
The debut of THREAD OF SILVER is well clear form-wise of any of her rivals and she may be worth another chance for her powerful connections following one poor run. Call Me Katie has shown pace in her two starts that suggests sprinting is the way to go and there's little between her and Esprit Rose who had a lot go wrong for her on debut and is only likely to improve on a promising run.
