Has won two of his three races in bumpers, both of which have come at Market Rasen over the extended 2m trip. This will be his first appearance on the Flat at a much shorter distance. Best to watch for now.

Broke his maiden over hurdles at Worcester (2m4f) last time out in a 15 runner field. Started his career with two appearances on the Flat on the AW where he was a long way down the field in both races. Needs to improve on his Flat form.

This will be his sixth start on the track. He went close to his maiden success at Wolverhampton (1m3f) on the AW on his opening start of the campaign when he finished second of seven. Was seventh of 10 last time at Newbury (1m3f). One to consider.

Dansili colt who cost 340,000 gns as a yearling. Wears the visor on his debut where the market vibes seem strong about his chances of getting off to a winning start to his career. Worth considering.

Has shown some promise in all three of his starts to date. He was third of five last time at Newcastle (1m2f) on the AW on what was his opening run since being gelding. Has the blinkers on for the first time and is up in trip. Leading contender.

Forecasts

Ballylemon (6/4), Pianissimo (6/4), Isocrates (7/2), Rory And Me (16/1), The Accountant (33/1)

Verdict

PIANISSIMO has the pick of the form here and he looks the most likely to break his maiden in this contest. He has run like he has needed further in his three starts to date so this new trip should help his chances. Ballylemon is likely to be the biggest danger as he looks to build on some encouraging performances on his return to this level, while Isocrates is an interesting newcomer who should perform well on his debut.
  1. Pianissimo
  2. Ballylemon
  3. Isocrates
