Formerly useful handicapper but lost his way this term and was tailed off last of 11 when last seen at Hamilton (1m4f). Tough task on his hands from these weights.
Bombed out on first appearance for this yard but put up much improved display with 3L defeat in 1m4f York handicap earlier this month. Bit more needed on ratings to be competitive however.
Course winner over further in June but has tailed off in his last two starts, including 48L defeat in 2m York handicap. Claims if finding best form but this race looks competitive.
Had been running to his mark after Hamilton success in May but was a modest seventh at that track (1m4f) when last seen. First try over staying distances today.
Irish raider. Winner at Ballinrobe over this distance back in June and wasn't disgraced despite finishing 11th at Leopardstown in early August. Only 1lb higher for British mark and expected to give a good account.
Had ben holding his form well before bombing out in 1m6f contest at Musselburgh on his latest start. Can be forgiven for that effort on account of the ground and usually runs to his mark.
Not been able to get her head in front since last season but has been building back to form recently. Latest 2L third in 1m4f Leicester handicap puts her right in the mix off of the same mark.
Sole win came at this track over 1m2f last season and bombed out seasonal reappearance at Hamilton (1m5f) in June. Not seen since and makes limited appeal on is return.
Winner over 1m2f here earlier in the season and proved that effort wasn't a fluke with some encouraging efforts since. They were in lesser company though so a step up is required in this.
Racked up two wins at Musselburgh and Catterick this summer and wasn't disgraced off 5lb higher mark when fourth in 1m4f Thirsk handicap. First try at this trip and grade but commands respect.
Has been a model of consistency since his Nottingham victory in June including latest third at Carlisle (1m1f, good to soft) in August. Now steps up markedly in trip but musn't be discounted.
Remains a maiden after three starts and found novice company too hot to handle at Doncaster (1m2f) last time out. Not fairly treated by the handicapper for debut in this sphere.
Steadily improving and got off the mark for the first time with good 2L success in 1m4f handicap at Musselburgh on latest start. Likely to have more improvement in him and shortlisted.
Kept busy this year but resulted in only one success at Thirsk so far. Stayed on well to take fourth in 1m4f Catterick handicap last time out but could be vulnerable to more progressive rivals.
Generally consistent this season and thrived on the step up to 2m with game success at Newcastle in late August. 4lb rise fair but receives weight all round. Leading player.

A trappy-looking handicap to end proceedings with most of the field covered by little on ratings, preference is for SBRAASE, who has thrived in similar company over in Ireland at these races this summer. His latest Loepardstown effort can be ignored and Irish raiders typically do well at this track. Myklachi looks to be the main danger on the manner if his victory last time out and looks to have more progression in him, while True Romance looked in need of a test of stamina last time when running creditably off her current mark, which the same can be said for Corton Lad.
- Sbraase
- Myklachi
- True Romance
