Got off the mark for the season two starts ago at York but failed to replicate that form when 13th at that track (1m2f) last time out. Remains on the same mark for this and may be in the grip of the handicapper.
Good winner of Carlisle novice contest two starts ago and wasn't disgraced with 6L defeat in Sandown Listed race (1m) in July 2018. Not seen since but on a workable opening handicap mark. Betting should guide.
Won Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy in 2018 but not hit them heights this season. Latest third in 1m1f Hamilton handicap was a step back in the right direction but yet to prove she has trained on.
In the frame in three starts to date, winning at Thirsk two starts ago before well-held second in 1m Pontefract novice contest last time out. Opening handicap mark leaves her dangerously poised.
Sole win came at Haydock in April but has bombed out twice in handicap company, including 27L last of nine at that venue (1m) last time. Readily opposed.
Had been struggling off revised marks but appreciated drop in weights the last twice. Latest 4L third in class 2 Haydock handicap (1m2f) leaves her well poised, especially as she has been dropped 1lb again.
Had a good year in 2018 but looks out of sorts this term including well-held seventh at Yarmouth (1m2f) in late August. Significant bounce back is required.
C&D winner back in May but failed to land a blow since. Latest defeat at Musselburgh (1m2f) means she's dropped in the weights but remains 3lb above last winning mark. Opposable.
Took advantage of fall in the handicap to bounce right back to his best with impressive success in 1m1f Hamilton handicap on latest start. Respected on that effort but 6lb rise suggests handicapper isn't taking a chance.
Doncaster winner in July but struggling in deeper company since. Fared better than the result suggested when 1L sixth in York handicap (1m4f) last time and drop in trip could help her cause.
Last handicap victory came in August 2018 and hasn't trouble the judge in four starts this season, including 19L fourth at Goodwood (1m4f) latest. Makes limited appeal.
Good winner of 1m3f Carlisle class 5 handicap on penultimate start but well-beaten back in that company at Hamilton (1m4f) in August. This represents another step up.

Forecasts
Eva Maria (9/4), Ladies First (7/2), Sarvi (7/1), Bollin Joan (8/1), Lady Alavesa (8/1), Fannie By Gaslight (11/1), Summer Daydream (14/1), Maulesden May (16/1), Flood Defence (16/1), Amber Spark (16/1), Double Reflection (20/1), Balgees Time (20/1), La Voix Magique (40/1), Koduro (50/1)
EVA MARIA has done nothing but improve in each start this season despite finding novice company too good last time and has shaped as a prime candidate for handicaps. Her opening mark gives her a chance to showcase her further progression and could have a big handicap in her sights in time. Amber Spark likewise is being given a chance in the weights on her current form and should appreciate the drop in class while the likes of Lady Alevesa and Koduro remain unexposed at this level and could be anything still.
- Eva Maria
- Amber Spark
- Lady Alavesa
