Doncaster winner earlier in the season but has proved to be inconsistent since. Looked out of his depth when 10th of 17 in 1m Haydock handicap but more needed despite drop in class.
Winner off 1lb lower in Carlisle novice two starts ago before outclassed in 1m Haydock handicap in August. Given leniency by the handicapper since and on a workable mark in an easier contest.
Not in the finest form this season and took a further backward step with 15L defeat in 1m Carlisle handicap last time out. Back on his last winning mark however and does boast a C&D win to his name.
Hasn't won since July 2016 and made a poor return to the track when beaten 34L at Thirsk (1m) last month. Faces an uphill task.
16-race maiden and started to prove to be inconsistent. Fast ground didn't seem to suit when 18L eighth at Musselburgh (1m) last time and holds each-way claims if back to his best.
Losing record now stands at 17. Was well fancied to get off the mark at Pontefract (1m) but could only finish 8L ninth. Off the same mark for this which makes things tough.
Tailed off in each of his starts this season and that trend didn't change when last of 11 over C&D last time out. Hard to fancy on current run of form.
Hasn't got his head in front this season but normally runs to his mark including 2L fourth in 1m Carlisle handicap latest. This could be an optimum opportunity to win off his current mark.
Form looks to be better on AW and struggled on turf this season. Latest 21L last of nine at Pontefract (1m) in August leaves a lot to be desired.
Musselburgh winner back in August but looks to be struggling off current mark, including 4L sixth in 7f handicap at that venue. Best watched until dropped in the weights.
Things haven't gone his way this season but fared better than the result suggested with 2L sixth at Redcar (7f, good to firm) last time out. Could be one step ahead of the handicapper at this stage.
5f winner as a juvenile and failed to show he has stayed these type of distances in last two starts, including seventh in 1m1f Carlisle handicap. Others make more appeal.

Make Me (4/1), Mount Ararat (5/1), Royal Regent (13/2), Carey Street (7/1), Lightning Attack (15/2), Zoravan (8/1), Storm Ahead (9/1), Redgrave (10/1), Elusive Heights (11/1), Donnelly's Rainbow (12/1), Agar's Plough (16/1), Mustaqbal (16/1), My Amigo (40/1), Tagur (50/1)
ROYAL REGENT has shown an aptitude for this track in the past and has failed to run a bad race at this venue this season. Despite his advancing years over some of his rivals he looks to be well handicapped to run another bold race. Zoravan has proved to be frustrating this season but given his current mark in the weights he could be primed to land a contest like this sooner rather than later, while Lightning Attack can be forgiven for his last effort and Make Me looks to be turning a corner in his form.
