Has steadily improved since May 2018, with her career-best third at Goodwood (1m2f, good) just two starts ago. Found this grade beyond her when beaten 15½L at York (1m4f, good to firm) last time, however, and needs to improve again.

Won well at Bath (1m2f, good to firm) six weeks ago to post a career-best but has been heavily defeated in two Listed races since at Salisbury (1m2f, soft) and Fontainebleau (1m2f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Has plenty to find with the main players.

Highly tried on two starts after winning at Wetherby (1m2f, good) back in April but the addition of the hood saw her win a Listed event at York (1m2½f, good) before hacking up in this grade at Salisbury (1m2f, soft) by 7L. The one to beat.

From a good family and has improved with every start, most recently landing a hat-trick at Beverley (1m½f, good to firm) 74 days ago. Should have no problems with this trip (half-sister to 1m5f winner) and well worth a try in this grade.

Won nicely at Beverley (7½f, good to firm) on her second start last year before finding dual-Guineas heroine Hermosa too hot at Naas next time. Off for 353 days since and with mixed-messages on pedigree (dam was a sprinter), she is best watched.

Touched off by a filly rated 75 at Bath (1m, good to firm) on debut 22 days ago. Whilst that was a good start, it leaves her with plenty to find with the market principals. The trip should be fine, her dam a winner over 1m7f.

Won on her handicap debut at Leopardstown (1m, good) off 82 back in June but has fallen short in three Listed races since then at The Curragh, Killarney and Gowran Park. Up in trip again here and needs more to be involved.

Has been steadily improving, with the step up to this trip seeing her run well last twice, most recently winning at Chelmsford (1m2f, Polytrack) by a short head from re-opposing Maid For Life. Needs to continue her improvement but not dismissed.

A nicely bred filly who was becoming frustrating until everything clicked at Chelmsford (1m2f, Polytrack) last time, winning by 5L. Steps up in grade here but yard have won this three times in the past and her confidence will be high.

Finished a well-held fourth on her only previous attempt in Listed company, although heavy ground may not have helped. Back to form when touched off by Gallic (conceding 9lbs) last time at Chelmsford (1m2f, Polytrack) and is one for the shortlist.

Improved throughout the season and after an unlucky fifth at Glorious Goodwood, she hacked up at Doncaster (1m2f, soft) 32 days ago. Handicapper put her 13lb for that which warrants her place in this line-up but the competition is much stronger.

Got off the mark on handicap debut at Sandown (1m1f, good) in July after some promising efforts. Second of three in a messy affair at Ffos Las (1m2f, good) last time out but needs a big step forward on overall form.

Highly tried this campaign after winning a maiden at Newmarket (1m, good) last Autumn. Shaped a little better at Sandown (1m, good to firm) when fifth in a Group 3 last time after not getting a clear run. Hard to gauge if she's up to this level.

Won 1m1½f maiden at Gowran Park (yielding to soft) back in the Spring and has found life difficult in Listed and Group races since then. Never involved at The Curragh (1m1f, good) 19 days ago and it would be a surprise if she was good enough.

Trainer has won this race three times since 2014. Down the field in the Oaks but returned from a break at York (1m4f, good to firm) last time out to finish sixth and may well be able to build on that down in trip.

Verdict

A big field for a race of this nature sees a host of lightly-raced, improving fillies. The standard is set by FANNY LOGAN after her wins at York and Salisbury and despite some promising opposition, she should be too good. Trying to concede weight all round, Maid For Life ran a cracker at Chelmsford and is well worth another crack Listed company, particularly on better ground than she encountered on her first attempt whilst Tauteke represents a yard who have an outstanding record this race and is still unexposed.
