Was a winner over this trip at Thirsk (1m) back in May but has been unable to follow it up since. He was sixth of eight on his last start at Ripon (1m). Has been eased 2lb in the weights. Needs to improve on recent form.
In good form at the moment with two wins coming from his last four starts. He scored by a neck at Epsom (7f) two runs ago, while on his latest outing, he was disappointing, finishing 13th of 16 at Ascot in a class 2 event. Has to be considered.
A C&D winner here in 2018. He has yet to add to his tally this year in seven appearances. He only had horse behind him last time at Ripon (1m2f) in a 12 runner field. Back down in distance again, however, others are preferred.
Has been successful twice already over this trip in his campaign with wins coming at Doncaster and Ascot respectively. Almost prevailed over this C&D last time when he was second of 13, beaten ¾L. Gone up just 2lb. Big player.
Scored at Epsom (7f) on his last start where he prevailed by just a head after going off as the 9/2 joint-favourite. Will need to carry a 5lb penalty here as he looks to follow up. Back up in trip. One for the shortlist.
Has won twice this year, with his most recent victory coming at Bath (1m) on his penultimate outing. Did not follow up last time at Goodwood (1m1f) where he was down the field in 12th place of 17. Needs to bounce back.
Broke his maiden at York (1m) three starts ago and then followed that up with more success over that same C&D on his next start. Struggled last time off his latest mark as he was at the very rear of the 16 runner field. Capable of bouncing back.
Prevailed over this C&D on his opening start of the campaign back in April. Has not been far away on his last three appearances, including his latest effort at York (1m2½f). Back down in trip. One to think about.
Recorded back-to-back wins earlier this season when he got his nose in front at Leicester (7f) and then Newcastle (7f) on the AW. He was not too far away last time when he finished fourth of eight at Musselburgh (7f). Has an each-way chance.
Was successful twice on the AW earlier this year. Pulled-up last time on the AW at Newcastle (1m) back in June after losing his action 2f into the race. This is his first start since then. Best to watch for now.
