Form had been good this season where the pick of his performances was a success at Pontefract (6f). He was disappointing last time though as he could only finish 11th of 14 at Thirsk (7f). Cheekpieces are on for the first time. Needs to bounce back.
Has been successful twice this year, with his latest victory coming at Doncaster (6f) three runs back. Has not been too far away on his latest two starts, including when he was second over this C&D. Leading player once again.
Has struggled this season in his four starts. He was last of 11 on his latest attempt at Doncaster (7f). Has had a wind-op since. This will be his first run for his new yard. Needs to improve to be in the mix at the finish.
Experienced gelding who prevailed for the first time this season in a 15 runner field at Thirsk (6f) on his latest start, scoring by ¾L. The handicapper has raised him 4lb, however, he has won off a higher mark before so it remains workable.
His sole victory came early in his career at Newbury over 6f. Has been on the decline in the weights this season. He was at the very rear of the field last time at Catterick (6f) in an 11 runner contest. Hard to make a case for.
Scored for the second time on his latest appearance at Ripon (6f) when he was on the right side of a close finish by a neck. Has been raised just 1lb in the weights so he has a good chance of following it up here.
Had been running consistently well this season before a disappointing effort at Carlisle (6f) on his latest outing where he could only come home eighth of 10. Has gone down 1lb in the weights. Looks to have each-way claims.
Has won six times in his career so far. His last success was in July 2018 though at Newmarket (6f). He was only 2L off the winner on his latest start at Lingfield (7f). Stepping down in trip again. Worth thinking about.
Has been close to victory on a number of occasions this year in what has been a consistent campaign without success. He drops drop a further 2lb after finishing sixth of 12 at Leicester on his last run. Has to be respected off this mark.
