Run with consistency despite not being able to get his head in front just yet but he's still unexposed and is going the right way. The drop in trip isn't an obvious move, though.

Experienced gelding that is back on an attractive mark after a fruitless 2019 campaign so far; last win can on the Fibresand at Southwell last November but he's rarely threatened to deliver in the intervening period. Might do better in AW season.

Holding his form and gained a deserved success over C&D last month; just 3lb higher but still on a handy mark in comparison to past form; has to merit an interest with a leading claimer booked for the ride.

Has posted a handful of near misses this season and now on a lowest career mark as a result. She's got the ability to figure but her tendency to find one more determined in a battle has to be a concern.

Won on good to firm ground at Yarmouth (5f) in August and ran respectably twice since; getting some slack from the handicapper again but needs to bounce back from those two modest efforts. (Has won over C&D before, though.)

Lightly raced since July and possible she needed the outings when finishing third in each of her last two starts. Both finishing positions read well in the context of this race and this multiple previous winner cannot be ruled out at this level.

Won a maiden at Ffos Las in July 2018 but no joy since; she did post one of her better efforts when second at Chepstow last month but even a career lowest mark left her short of the mark. Can be thereabouts but no surprise if out-fought once again.

Age: 4|  Weight: 9-0| J: H Crouch| T: J E Long| OR:  56| C| D

Won over 6f here in July but well held in both starts since; visor replaces cheekpieces after those modest runs and the gelding is another with a bit to prove now.

Forecasts

Big Time Maybe (9/4), Threefeetfromgold (7/2), Toni's A Star (5/1), Hellovaqueen (7/1), Ghepardo (7/1), Arzaak (12/1), Haveoneyerself (14/1), Knockout Blow (14/1)

Verdict

BIG TIME MAYBE gets the nod to help get Cieren Fallon's week off to a flyer; the gelding gave the jockey another winner here last month and, from only a 3lb higher mark, this looks an ideal opportunity for the gelding to strike again. Ghepardo and Toni's A Star have the form to make things tough for the selection, while Hellovaqueen is another who can get competitive at this level and merits a betting check at least.
