Is still looking for his opening victory on turf, however, he has scored on the AW, with his sole win coming at Wolverhampton (7f) back in June. He was last of seven on his latest appearance at Epsom (7f). Needs to bounce back.

Started the season with back-to-back wins at Salisbury (6f) and this track (5f) respectively. Her form then dipped a little but she was an encouraging second of five last time at Goodwood (6f). One for the shortlist.

Has made a very successful start to her career with two wins from her three appearances. Her latest success came at Bath over the extended 5f trip where she scored by 8L after going off as the 1/4 favourite. Handicap debut here. One to beat.

Scored twice earlier this year, with her most recent victory coming at Newbury (6f) back in July. Has been down the field in her last two outings, including at Ascot (6f) when she was seventh of 16. Others are preferred.

Notched up a hat-trick of wins last year but has yet to score since she prevailed at Carlisle (6f) in July 2018. Has not been too far away on her last two runs, including latest when only 2¼L away when fifth of six. Drops down 1lb. One to consider.

Forecast

Shorter Skirt (9/4), Whisper Aloud (11/4), Dizzy G (3/1), Chitra (4/1), Ascended (9/1)

Verdict

WHISPER ALOUD blew the field away last time Bath over 5½f. She is making her handicap debut here so she may find the opposition tougher, however, she remains open to improvement so she is the one they all have to beat. Chitra has already recorded two wins this year and going off the evidence of his recent performance at Goodwood, he is likely to go close, while Dizzy G has to be respected off this mark and can fill the placings here.
  1. Whisper Aloud
  2. Chitra
  3. Dizzy G
