Dark Angel colt and a half-brother to the stables dual 7f winner Irreverent. Very impressive Carlisle winner on debut and sets a strong standard. Stable won this three years in a row from 2014 and also run newcomer Sheung Wan.
Attempted to make all when finishing third of four in a soft ground 6f maiden at Yarmouth on debut and duly scored on good ground over the same trip at Chepstow on her second start. Only likely to improve and a leading contender.
Made a decent debut when second at Wolverhampton in July but has been very poor in two turf starts since. Gelded since but hard to be confident in at present.
Son of Dark Angel who finished seventh of 14 on heavy over 6f novice at Thirsk last month, travelling well but unable to sustain a promising effort in the conditions. Holds a Middle Park entry and likely to progress.
Son of Swiss Spirit who is a 12th foal and a half brother to four winners. Cost 13,000 gns as a foal, €26,000 as a yearling and 25,000 gns as a juvenile. Interesting debutante for a stable whose Deb's Delight is the likely first string.
Decent fourth in a 7f novice event at York on debut and improved for the drop to this trip when third at Carlisle last month. With further progress he shouldn't be far away from the action once again.
Failed to beat a rival home in two starts to date when finishing 29L and 37L adrift. Needs to improve out of all recognition and easy to dismiss.
Poet's Voice filly was sent off 66/1 but not disgraced over 5f on soft ground at Carlisle in May. The bare form would need improving on but it was run in a decent time and she should progress for the extra furlong.
Forecasts
Deb's Delight (11/8), Huboor (9/4), Stroxx (9/2), Seven Emirates (8/1), Sheung Wan (16/1), Roseina's Voice (20/1), Lilkian (25/1), Courtney Rose (150/1)
DEB'S DELIGHT was highly impressive on debut, quickly overcoming a slow start and winning in stylish fashion. Like the pacey Huboor, he is well drawn and the latter may be able to get to the lead or at least sit on the leader from her stall. She rates the main danger while both the nicely boxed Roseina's Voice and the well-entered Seven Emirates are likely improvers. Stroxx has done little wrong but has a wide number to overcome.
- Deb's Delight
- Huboor
- Roseina's Voice
