Dual course winner including over this trip; gradually worked his way into form this year although only 6372 at this venue. Built on a C&D second to Hereby to score his second win of the year at Beverley last time (1m2f); should go well again.
Failed to build on his C&D win in testing conditions back in June (Gossip Column back in third) in four subsequent runs (one over C&D) in far better conditions. Not disgraced last time (left poorly placed) on the AW; needs to step up again.
Improving filly from a yard that does well with this sort winning two handicaps (one over C&D, beat Gossip Column) since scoring in a Goodwood maiden. Showed a good tough attitude in winning (value for more in handicap terms); hard to beat.
Part of the furniture around here but only has a 1-13 record with relative consistency playing into the hands of the handicapper. Last nine starts have come here over a variety of trips, likely to run his race but looks held off this mark.
