Winner of 6f Chelmsford novice in June and just denied in 7f handicap there last month on nursery bow. Not matched that effort in three turf runs since, but rated just 1lb higher here as a result.
Shaped well twice on turf since switching to nurseries, has plenty speed however and will need to prove stamina for 7f on AW bow.
Showing some improvement in three starts on turf, this step up to 7f on AW/nursery bow certainly appears a positive. Improved showing is likely with cheekpieces added and one to note in betting.
Sixties Icon filly, joined this yard after finishing runner-up in 6f Wolverhampton seller on second outing. Close third since in novice company at Lingfield (1m). Should have something to offer now tackling nurseries.
Much-improved when 2¼L third of seven on last month's nursery bow over a mile at Chelmsford. May be in the shake-up again here with further improvement to come.
Gelded son of Zebedee, not finishing his races out with great conviction in four starts so far. Made the frame on nursery bow at Ffos Las (7½f, good) last time but was 5L+ off the speed. More required on AW bow with blinkers tried.
Promising start over 5f at Sandown in May, hasn't built on that in two further turf runs over 6f however. AW/nursery bow now tackling new trip.
Dutch Art filly, hasn't shown much in three starts so far, two of them over this trip; needs to change things up dramatically on nursery bow. Others preferred.
Daughter of Cable Bay, much-improved on fifth start when runner-up in 6f nursery here a week ago. Runs from same mark here and of interest with that run behind her.
US-bred gelding cost 20,000 gns at the sales in May. Unable to get competitive in three qualifying runs and needs a chunk of improvement on this nursery bow.
War Command filly with few positives in five starts to date, easily beaten in 6f Wolverhampton seller latest. Plenty to work on at the moment.
Red Jazz gelding, big prices and down the finishing order in three turf runs so far over 5f/6f. Makes nursery/AW bow needing to improve significantly on those efforts.
All three novice starts have come over 6f at Windsor, showing something to work with. Makes nursery/AW bow here and an improved showing could be forthcoming from the filly.
Dandy Man filly, showed very little in three starts in maiden/novice company before improving on nursery bow at Epsom (7f, good to firm) last month. AW bow and could get involved with another step forward here.
Forecasts
Souter Johnnie (7/2), Constanzia (5/1), Pitchcombe (6/1), Cece Ceylon (8/1), You Don't Own Me (9/1), Champagne Highlife (12/1), Speed Merchant (12/1), Party Potential (14/1), Sparkling Diamond (16/1), Hiconic (20/1), Pink Tulip (20/1), Jazz Style (25/1), Leave Em Alone (33/1), Krishmaya (40/1)
Very open stuff and marginal preference goes to bottom-weight KRISHMAYA, who showed a bit more on turf at Epsom last month and ought to have some claims if handling this surface with more improvement to come. You Don't Own Me has shaped well in qualifying runs at Windsor while Constanzia must put a few poor efforts behind but has form to get involved from this mark. Sparkling Diamond posted a personal best here last week and is shortlisted with that in mind.
- Krishmaya
- Sparkling Diamond
- Constanzia
