Apprentice has a handy weight allowance, and she was a comfortable winner of a maiden hurdle at this track two starts ago. Brought back down to earth when only seventh of nine on handicap debut last month, though this is a fair bit easier.
Dual-purpose performer who looked to be going the right way earlier in the year. However, he has been pulled-up and then tailed off the last twice. Still 1lb above last winning mark also, and is readily opposed when in such dire form.
One of a couple of Irish recruits in here starting out for new yard. Never won in 16 attempts over hurdles, and he probably shouldn't have any real chance. Look out for positive market vibes in him though.
Still lightly raced after just the eight starts, and there was some promise shown on his handicap debut at Southwell (2m4f; good to soft). Improvement needed from that effort, but place claims if able to show some.
No better than midfield in any of her starts over hurdles in Ireland. Now starts out for new yard, and although he cannot be fancied on form, market support for him would give him claims.
Prolific winning pointer but is 0-18 under rules. Would have a chance if able to reproduce the form of his latest effort when third on stable debut at Fontwell (2m5f; good to firm) though.
Makes seasonal reappearance, and wasn't in terrible form when last seen. However, his last run over hurdles came at this track in July 2018 when he was pulled-up. Not as exposed as others in this contest though, and can go well fresh.
Scored three times in a row over this C&D a couple of years ago. 7lb below last winning mark now though, and he has been out of form for a while so is best to oppose.
Out of form over the smaller obstacles of late, and has been given a 4lb drop in the weights after being tailed off at Stratford (2m; good) last month.
Shown no improvement in three starts for the switch to the handicap code, and was tailed off at Uttoxeter (2m; good) when last seen. Very hard to get excited about him as he steps back up in trip.
Beaten a country mile at Stratford (2m6f; good to soft) last month, which came after he finished third in this grade at Newton Abbot. Major improvement required, and hard to erase the manner of his latest effort. Can only be watched.
Winless in seven starts, but there were slightly more encouraging signs when she managed to finish sixth on her second handicap start last month. Needs to build on that off 3lb lower, but could snatch a place if able to do so.
Form has curtailed since she made her return from an absence this January, and she has failed to complete on three of her six starts. Pulled-up here over slightly further last week, and she isn't getting any younger so cannot be fancied.
0-9 in rules races, and she was beaten a very long way when fourth over fences at Fontwell (2m3f; good to firm) not long ago. Now returns to hurdles for the first time since January 2018. Watching brief advised.
