In good form, winner at Perth in July and lost little in defeat at Market Rasen on latest start. New yard appear to have turned his fortunes around, so could even be a bit more to come, and with top jockey booked, has to have chances here.
Looked set for a good summer when taking a quality Ayr handicap back in May but things have rather unravelled on his last couple of starts, well held when falling at Perth latest. Bit to prove at present.
Not seen out for a year but has won after an absence before, and yard came back from their own break with a winner yesterday. Trip and likely ground fine, well handicapped and it fit, looks a big player here.
Some signs on his last two starts that he might be coming back to a bit of form, and now starting to look well treated on the best of his Irish form. Yard get the odd winner here and he cannot be discounted from a tricky event to solve.
Ready winner at Sedgefield two starts back and unseat last time not his fault at all. Probably not a lot of wriggle room off this mark but yard have been going well and he looks to hold a leading chance.
Shown next to nothing in 25 starts and can't possibly be entertained as the likely winner from slightly out of the handicap.
Forecasts
My Renaissance (5/2), Honourable Gent (3/1), Welcome Ben (10/3), Beautiful Ben (4/1), Mullinavat (13/2), Go Guarantor (20/1)
Beautiful Ben has run well for his new yard and looks the one to beat, but HONOURABLE GENT has gone well fresh before and his yard came back from a break with a winner yesterday. My Renaissance suffered a setback at Sedgefield last week but his quick reappearance means all is well, and he could easily get back on the win trail.
