One from 32 Flat starts on turf, the Invincible Spirit mare has recently started to lose her races at the starts, missing the break on a number of occasions since May. Will need to improve to figure.

Forecasts

Mean Fomhair (2/1), Angel's Amy (9/2), Engles Rock (6/1), Cuban Surfer (7/1), Stormy Belle (8/1), Angels (10/1), Silver Service (12/1), Arabeska (14/1), Deira Surprise (22/1), Waitaki (33/1), Gentil J (50/1)

Verdict

Wide open contest which should see the Gerard Keane-trained, MEAN FOMHAIR add to her success at Roscommon earlier this month. The filly is quickly turned out under a 15lb penalty, but the style of her win in facile fashion on heavy ground may not be enough to halt the progression of the daughter of Fast Company. Winner of two of her last four starts, Arabeska, Stormey Belle, second to Thiswaycadeaux earlier this month and the Joseph O'Brien-trained, Deira Surprise all deserve further consideration.
  1. Mean Fomhair
  2. Arabeska
  3. Deira Surprise
