Has struggled in his two appearances so far. He was last of 11 on his debut at Windsor (6f), while last time, he came home seventh of nine over that same C&D where he was well beaten. Needs to take a big step forward here to be in the mix.

Karakontie colt who was foaled on February 5 and cost $130,000 as a foal. He is a half-brother to multiple winners, including Villandry who scored over 1m1f in a Grade 3 event in the US. Interesting newcomer who is worth considering on debut start.

Made a belated debut at Newmarket (7f) last month where he took the lead in the opening stages but ran too freely. He eventually came home seventh of nine runners. He is likely to come on for that run on his second appearance. Likely type.

Outstrip colt who was foaled on April 13 and cost 50,000 gns as a yearling. He is a half-brother to Scorching Heat who won over 6f and 1m4f winner Flanders Flame. Keep an eye out for market support on opening start.

Failed to shine on her opening outing at Epsom over 7f as she was last of eight runners, beaten 18½L. Is stepping down in trip here at her second attempt, however, she needs to improve a lot on that first display to be competitive.

Showed promise on her debut when she finished third of five, beaten by just 1L at Yarmouth (7f). Was fancied to get get off the mark last time on the AW at Chelmsford (7f) but had to settle for fourth of five. Big player on return to turf.

Dontaskmeagain (1/1), Collette (3/1), Draw Lots (7/2), Rondo (7/2), Party Popper (7/1), Awesome Gary (33/1), Am I Dreaming (66/1)

Verdict

COLLETTE has produced the best bit of form of these runners so far. She was slowly into stride last time on the AW but this return to turf will help her chances so take her to get off the mark at the third attempt. Rondo didn't quite deliver on his opening run at Newmarket but expect a much better performance now he knows what it is all about in this weaker contest, while Dontaskmeagain is the most interesting newcomer on paper and may just be able to pick up some place money on his debut.
  1. Collette
  2. Rondo
  3. Dontaskmeagain
