100% strike rate here from three runs. Revival when runner-up in first-time cheekpieces at Chester (7½f, good) last weekend. Looks a big player with that under his belt and back at this venue.
Tends to save his best efforts for York, and has not been at his best so far this season. Mark beginning to slide, so can't write him off, and acts on soft.
Below par when last seen at Leicester, but has been in decent form prior to that over this sort of trip, so it would not be a surprise to see a revival.
Well held at Goodwood last time, and not always consistent. Even so, 7f on soft ground has seen him produce some of his better displays and he is not ruled out from a very competitive mark.
Former French-trained gelding who has not shown much for this trainer so far. However, he has a good record with those that he takes from across the channel, and support for this four-year-old would make him of interest.
Turf winner on debut last year, and added to that on this season's reappearance at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) in March. Held on his next two starts, but remains of interest at this level now freshened up again.
Yet to race on ground as soft as forecast, and disappointed at York last time out. However, not written off on some of this season's form.
A winner at both Ascot and Windsor in the spring (both 6f, good to soft). Below par next time, but came back to form at Ffos Las latest. Running style over 6f suggests she should be effective over this far. Interesting.
Has struggled to get involved in better races at York on his last two outings. Drops in class here, won't mind these conditions, and certainly not written off.
4-32 on turf and last win came at Doncaster's spring meeting (7f, good to firm), when on this mark. Largely consistent since, though does need to bounce back from a slightly below par effort at Thirsk last time.
Ran well to be second from today's mark at Catterick (7f, good) last week. Well treated based on last year's form and no surprise to see him heavily involved. Acts on soft.
Forecasts
Alemaratalyoum (9/4), Molls Memory (5/1), Get Knotted (7/1), Lincoln Park (9/1), Whitefountainfairy (10/1), Parys Mountain (10/1), Presidential (11/1), King Of Tonga (12/1), Jackstar (14/1), Young Fire (16/1), Right Action (16/1)
Jackstar looks very much of interest now freshened up again, while Alemaratalyoum came back to form last time and should go well in a bid to defy topweight. However, PARYS MOUNTAIN also returned to better form last time, and with conditions to suit, he could come good again from what is a handy mark. Lincoln Park and Molls Memory are also both of interest.
- Parys Mountain
- Alemaratalyoum
- Jackstar
