1m2f course winner last season showed liking for it here again two starts when running on strongly for third of 17 in a £62k handicap two starts back. 2L fifth of 16 in another valuable contest at York latest and should make a bold bid here.
Looked ready for step up in trip now when getting up in final strides of a Doncaster class 2 over 1m2f last time out, his second career score. Up 4lb but having only raced six times he remains open to improvement and is highly respected.
Beaten a short head by Headman at Newbury in May and that colt has since won two Group Twos. Third in what is traditionally one of the warmest three-year-old handicaps of the summer at Goodwood latest and has very strong claims here.
Now only 1lb higher than 1m2½f Chester win on soft ground in May but that was just a second win in 29 starts to date. Well held the last twice at Newmarket and Sandown and looks vulnerable to less exposed rivals here.
Had thrown in two career-best efforts back-to-back, winning readily at Windsor before respectable second in 1m4f Thirsk handicap but well held latest at Musselburgh and handicapper may have caught up now.
Yet to win in handicap company (won two novice events) but not run a bad race yet in 2019 and staying on second over 1m2f at Doncaster latest the pick of the bunch. Upped another 1lb but that not enough to expect anything but a bold showing.

Sinjaari (7/4), Epaulement (2/1), Spanish Archer (5/1), Dragons Voice (8/1), Desert Wind (8/1), Autumn War (10/1), Mr Top Hat (12/1)
Having gotten so close to Headman at Newbury who is now rated 112 it is a little surprising that SINJAARI hasn't won since but his conqueror at Goodwood latest Forest Of Dean has since followed up in another valuable contest at York off a 7lb higher mark; indeed that rival is now rated 110 himself so it may just have been more misfortune in bumping into a Group horse. He has very legitimate claims here with his elder rivals unlikely to prove in the class of the aforementioned duo. Lightly raced recent Doncaster winner Spanish Archer and top-handicap regular Epaulement both appeal as within range handicap-wise although the selection could just be too well treated to beat.
