To say John Gosden has a strong team here today is an understatement and the champion trainer's handicap debutante ILLUMINED looked a victim of going for home too soon when second at Kempton latest after impressing there the time before. She likes to lead so the small field here should suit as should a step back in trip; there is every chance this opening mark underestimates her. Lone four-year-old Asoof is a Group placed filly who won three times last term and having not raced at two she could still have more to give this season after a summer break. Specialise appears progressive also.
