Broke her maiden at the first attempt over hurdles when winning by 3L in a 2m contest at Wexford (good) last time out. Notable runner for a leading stable who will be suited by the expected good ground.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-1| J: P J Cawley(4)| T: D Hogan| OR:  109| D

Yet to win over hurdles but has picked up some fair place prize money along the way; won a chase at Wexford in July before disappointing twice since; not without a chance of winning but may have to settle for minor honours.

Peaches And Cream49
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: C P McNamara(4)| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  112| BF
11/10
Won for the first time in seven attempts when taking a Downpatrick handicap over 2m3f in July before below par last time out at Killarney in a similar handicap; drop back to novice company is interesting and one for the shortlist.

Still to ofically get her head in front (promoted to 1st on penultimate hurdle start); showed her well being when placed again last time out at Downpatrick; should run her race and one to consider.

6/1
Won a 21-runner Cork maiden hurdle in early August before finishing second of three next time up at Kilbeggan; probably needs to improve some more to have a chance here but hard to write off.

Off the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles when successful at Killarney (2m1f, good) on stable debut in May but has been below par since in three runs in both novice hurdles and in a handicap; best watched at present.

Forecasts

Peaches And Cream (11/10), Licklighter (3/1), Boro Tari (4/1), Karannelle (6/1), Cats For Cash (6/1), Brog Ahaon (13/2), De Mazzaro (12/1), Feel Des Mottes (16/1), Laureate (25/1)

Verdict

A decent novice event with plenty with chances but it may be worth siding with BORO TARI who showed improved form to land a fair race at Wexford in July and can be expected to progress again especially as he is likely to be racing on similar fast ground. Brog Ahaon won with a little in hand last time out at Kilbeggan and he is another won can do better. On the downside he may want a little more cut in the surface. Laureate has been consistent of late and can take advantage if either of the leading two candidates fail to run their race while the front-running Cats For Cash will be looking to steal a march on all of them and should be considered.
  1. Boro Tari
  2. Brog Ahaon
  3. Cats For Cash
