Sent off at big prices on all six runs (1m-1m4f) so far and has been well-beaten on each of them. Back from a 105-day absence here and others hold stronger claims.

Won at Wolverhampton (6f, Tapeta) in December off a mark of 55 and first signs of form since then when finishing fourth, beaten 3¾L at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) three weeks ago. Down in grade here and not ruled out if seeing out the trip.

Finished tailed-off on all three outings (6f/7f) and with an official rating of 30, is readily overlooked in this contest.

Shown little in a bumper and four flat runs, most recently when switched to handicap company at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) 69 days ago; he was beaten 30L. Hard to recommend.

Beaten a long way in all three novice races, most latterly at Kempton (1m, Polytrack) 16 days ago. Big drop in grade here but has a wide-draw to overcome and needs a significant step-up to get involved.

Recorded his only career victory in a similar contest over C&D back in April and nearly followed-up shortly after. Is a keen-goer so the drop back from 1m2f the last twice will help, as will the return to this track.

Veteran with 14 wins in his career, most recently in a 6f Classified event here in April. Returned from a three-month break at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) last week, making some late ground. Not dismissed if on a going day.

Ex-Irish making his stable debut. Finished a fair third at Leopardstown (1m, good to yielding) beaten 1½L after some interference. That matched his previous best, this is easier and so is considered on AW debut on only his eighth start.

Showed a modicum of ability in eight starts for Richard Hughes, he has been gelded for this yard debut. One of his better runs came here over 7f back in April when finishing fifth and drops into this grade for the first time.

Failed to build on a decent effort at Chepstow (1m, good) two starts ago when well-beaten at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) last time. Ran poorly on her only start here and others appeal more.

Has looked pretty limited to date. There were some minor positives at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm) back in July but quickly reverted to previous form with a resounding defeat at Newcastle (6f, Tapeta) four weeks ago.

Has reached the frame on her last three outings, two at Bath (1m, good to firm) and last time at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm). Brings better form to the table than most in this line-up and has place claims.

A 330,000 gns purchase whose unraced dam is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Vital Equine. Looked in need of the experience so far but passed a few rivals late last time at Kempton (7f, Polytrack). Big drop in class and bred to do better.

Won at Bath (1m, firm) in May and has been in similar form in three of her four starts since, including over C&D. Drawn well and holds a good chance of a second win dropped into a 0-50 contest.

Forecasts

Force Of Cashen (3/1), Poetic Motion (4/1), Nicky Baby (5/1), Parknacilla (6/1), Red Skye Delight (8/1), Pearl Jam (8/1), Cuban Spirit (12/1), If At Sea (14/1), Jailbreak (16/1), Tellovoi (25/1), Emojie (25/1), Keep On Laughing (33/1), Opera Kiss (66/1), Miss Communicate (66/1), Argent Bleu (66/1), Doncaster Star (66/1)

Verdict

Many of these can be overlooked with no substantial form but that can't be said about POETIC MOTION. She has managed to win and perform with credit for most of the year, including over C&D. Parknacilla is another for whose consistency of late brings her into the mix whilst Force Of Cashen showed some ability in Ireland and makes his GB and stable debut in a weak affair.
  1. Poetic Motion
  2. Parknacilla
  3. Force Of Cashen
