Was successful here over 1m back in May. Has since switched yards and went close to following up at Cork (1m½) when only ½L away in third place of 12. Needs to bounce back from latest effort at Cork over 7f but he is capable of doing that.

his sole success so far came at Cork (1m) on what was just his second start of his career. Has disappointed on his latest two runs, including when seventh of 10 at Leopardstown (1m2f). Has been eased 3lb and is down in trip. Others are preferred.

Started his career with success on the AW at Dundalk (7f). Has been unable to add to that since then. He did come very close last time though at Naas (1m) where he was beaten by a neck when second of five. Remains off the same mark. One to consider.

Scored for the second time in her career at Naas (1m2f) three runs back. She almost followed it up at Leopardstown (1m2f) on her next start when second of 11. Needs to bounce back from latest at the Curragh (1m4f). Down in trip. Each-way claims.

Was a C&D here on his first start of the campaign. He then followed that up with victory at Down Royal (1m2½f). Could only finish seventh of 19 last time at Leopardstown (1m2f). Needs to find more from this mark.

Has scored twice on the AW but is 0-9 on turf. She was fancied to go well last time at the Curragh when going off as the 4/1 favourite but she could only finish seventh of the 10 runners. Has to bounce back where she is down 1lb and is up in trip.

Has a 1-18 strike-rate. Her sole victory came at Ballinrobe (1m1½f) where she scored by a head. Was disappointing last time as she was at the rear of the field in a 17 runner race at Cork (7f). Cheekpieces on for the first time. Others preferred.

Has won twice in five starts this season since switching to turf, with his latest success coming at Killarney over 1m. Has gone up 6lb here but he remains open to improvement. One for the shortlist at this new distance.

Queen Amidala14
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2| J: Gary Carroll| T: J G Murphy| OR:  74
6/1
Lightly-raced filly who broke her maiden at the third attempt last time when scoring at Killarney over 1m after going off as the 11/4 favourite. She was staying on strongly at the finish which suggests this trip will suit. Strong claims.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-1| J: D O'Brien| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  73
11/2
Has shown some promise in his four starts so far where he has come close to his opening success on a couple of occasions. He was third of 14 last time at Killarney (1m). Steps up in trip now. One to consider.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: T P Madden(3)| T: Miss A Mooney| OR:  72
20/1
Ran well at the Curragh (1m2f) on his second start but otherwise he has failed to impress so far in his four runs. He was seventh of nine on his latest run at Fairyhouse (1m4f). Down in distance and hood is on for the first time. Others preferred.

20/1
Was second of 13 at Bellewstown (7½f) three starts back in what has been her best performance to date. Could only finish seventh of 14 last time at Bellewstown over 1m4f. Back down in trip which will help but others appeal more.

7/1
Broke her maiden in emphatic fashion last time over this C&D, scoring by 5L in a 17 runner field on what was just her third handicap appearance on the Flat. She has been raised 10lb in the weights but there is likely to be more to come. Big player.

Age: 8|  Weight: 8-4| J: A J Farragher(7)| T: P F O'Donnell| OR:  55| D
33/1
Dual-purpose mare who does have three wins to her name. She returned to the Flat last time at Tipperary (1m4½f) where she struggled, finishing 11th of 17. Stepping down in trip here. Hard to make a case for at this distance.

Forecasts

Finding Nero (5/1), Cerberus (11/2), Major Reward (6/1), Queen Amidala (6/1), Highway To Heaven (7/1), Cuban Surfer (10/1), Dare To Flare (12/1), Star Quality (14/1), Muzbid (16/1), Aztec Eagle (16/1), No Say Ever (20/1), Basrah Breeze (20/1), Papal Parade (33/1), Merited (33/1)

Verdict

HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN made a mockery of her handicap mark last time over this C&D scoring by 5L. She has been raised 10lb for that opening success but it shouldn't be enough to put you off her following up as she clearly enjoys it around here. Major Reward came really close to his opening turf victory last time where he only went down off a neck so off the same mark as that near miss, expect him to be there at the business end of the race, while Dare To Flare has really been enjoying it on turf this season and should be in the placings here.
  1. Highway To Heaven
  2. Major Reward
  3. Dare To Flare
