Unable to match form of smooth hurdles success at Huntingdon (2m; good) back in May of late. Most recent flat effort when seventh here over slightly shorter was particularly uninspiring. Has quite a bit to prove.
Still lightly raced compared to some of her rivals. Now drops back markedly in trip after failing to justify odds-on favouritism (5-6f) here last week when bumping into very well-handicapped rival. Major claims off the same mark.
Possesses strong claims if in the same form as when third over 1m2f at this track last week. Likely to encounter similar conditions. Slight doubts about his stamina but he is easier to make a case for than most. 2lb below last winning mark.
Losing run beginning to mount up now, and he has been in woeful form the last thrice. Claims if in the same form as when finishing runner-up at Yarmouth (1m6f; good to firm) last month. Back down to last winning mark.
Unable to match hurdles form on the level recently, and despite being well-treated under this code, she still needs to step up by some way on the bare form of her recent effort when a never dangerous seventh at Ripon (1m3f: good) last month.
Lesser effort over slightly further last time, but had previously finished a very good second to a well-fancied sort the time before that (again over C&D). Won over this C&D in the past and must enter considerations.
Seemed as though he had some potential to win a race of this nature over the winter when he switched to the handicap sphere. Gone backwards in recent starts however, and now he is competing off a career-low mark.
Tailed off in concerning fashion on both starts this year over a furlong further at Chelmsford (1m6f; standard), and he is subsequently impossible to fancy. Competes off career-low mark.
13-race maiden who has been quite in four starts so far this season. Dropped 3lb in the weights by the handicapper, but needs to show a fair bit more before any degree of faith is placed in him.
Virtually impossible to fancy after finishing tailed off/being beaten an awfully long way on each of his four starts this season. Look elsewhere for far more viable alternatives.
Has been in majorly disappointing form this season, and failed to land a blow when well-beaten at Lingfield (2m; good to firm) last week. Competing off a basement mark now, but she has plenty to do.

Sacred Sprite (3/1), Filament Of Gold (4/1), Taurean Dancer (9/2), Strictly Art (11/2), Tobacco Road (13/2), Sir Fred (10/1), Khismet (14/1), Everlasting Sea (14/1), Kiruna Peak (16/1), Mood For Mischief (18/1), Lady Natasha (40/1), Oyster Card (40/1)
Plenty of these are desperately struggling for form at present, and can be ruled out with confidence. However, that cannot be said for the likes of Filament Of Gold, who has posted some fine efforts at this track of late. He is entitled to be there or thereabouts once again when in such a consistent vein of form. Also in the mix is Taurean Dancer who now returns to 1m5f after going close over 1m2f at this track last week. He would hold solid claims if able to build on that. The selection is the John Berry-trained SACRED SPRITE who despite being well-beaten into second here recently, still retains the most potential & could regain the winning thread dropped back in trip.
- Sacred Sprite
- Taurean Dancer
- Filament Of Gold
