Returns from hurdling for first run on the Flat since losing his way back in 2017. 1lb higher than last winning mark and handles these conditions fine. Stable in form but he hasn't sparkled over obstacles so more needed.
Sole turf win came back in 2016 and generally a better performer on the AW. Conditions are fine but he'll have to improve on what he's shown so far on turf off this current mark.
Lightly raced since he rattled off a hat-trick in 2017 for Owen Burrows. Made a promising stable debut over two miles in July when fading in the final furlong. This trip could be ideal now and he's falling to a more attractive mark.
Won the Swinton Hurdle in 2016 but without a Flat success since taking a maiden back in 2014. Not many miles on the clock and two solid efforts this year, however he did look one paced at the business end. Should face competition for the lead.
Lightly raced and has kicked on again on fast ground at Bath the last twice. Suited by slow pace over 2m1f last start and a more truly run race over this distance is likely ideal. Takes a big step up in grade so more required off 3lb higher.
Sole turf win came on fast ground off 7lb lower back in May. Consistent since in lesser grades and matched winning form when beaten a nose at Bath latest. More to offer back up to this trip and while he's up in class, he still looks well weighted.
Won twice last year, including over this C&D but overall an infrequent winner. On a good mark but he's lost his way the last twice and needs an easier surface than this. Others preferred.

Horatio Star does need to improve again up in class but he's going the right way and has more to offer in these conditions. The reliable Singing The Blues rallied well to go down narrowly last time and this extra distance is ideal as he also moves up the grades. QULOOB hasn't many miles on the clock for his age and just faded late over further in a good opening run for his new stable.
