Career figures of two from 18 including a success in the Listed Committed Stakes at Navan over 12 months ago. Form has quickly and alarmingly tailed off somewhat since dropping 16lb in the handicap. Needs a couple to falter.
Mixed messages since winning his maiden at Listowel 12 months ago. Third of eight at Gowran Park recently but has never been the most reliable of sorts and others hold stronger claims in this contest.
Winner of two of his 16 Flat starts on turf the Lope De Vega entire is now racing 6lb lower than last winning mark. Can run a big race without worrying the main protagonists.
Early season promise has tailed of in a couple of starts at Navan and over 1m2½f at this venue on soft ground, well held seventh of eight last month. Could be coming back down to a mark he can be dangerous from.
Won on seasonal debut in a Gowran Park 7f handicap in April off a 4lb lower mark. Running well in defeat since and capable of another big run with conditions to suit.
Winner of this contest 12 months ago, beating 10 rivals off a 12lb lower mark. Has held her form well since and will be nicely tuned up following a couple of solid runs at the Galway festival and at Cork last month.
Possibly needed the run on return to action at Gowran Park in May finishing down the field following a 188 day break. Has hit the frame over C&D and worth a market check.
Sole win in 12 starts came at Galway 12 months ago. Generally well held since and others more appealing on the balance of recent sorties.
Off the mark for connections at the fifth attempt in a 6f maiden at Naas in November. Has appeared to struggle running off his current mark in a couple of defeats since. No surprise to witness improvement for York Ebor winning connections.
Maiden winner on soft-to-heavy ground over 7f at Gowran Park 15 months ago. Makes little appeal on what he has shown in a couple of starts this season. First-time cheekpieces fitted.
Three-race maiden well held on sole start this term at the Galway festival in July. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Blowing hot and cold in three seasonal starts last month. Nine-race maiden and appears to need some relief from the handicapper before further consideration.
Sole victory remains Fairyhouse success on debut last year. Running well in defeat in a number of starts since June and worth a market check in first-time blinkers.

A chance is taken with the winner of this contest 12 months ago, THISWAYCADEAUX. The mare appeared to be coming back to form in a couple of spins last month at the Galway festival and more recently at Cork. Shatharaat is another who looked to be coming back to some kind of form at Gowran Park recently and can emerge as a big danger along with Cork third, Stormy Belle and Erich Bloch for York Ebor winning connections.
- Thiswaycadeaux
- Shatharaat
- Erich Bloch
