Seven-race maiden who posted a career best at Killarney recently finishing 5½L adrift of Dare To Flare earlier this month. First-time blinkers may bring about required improvement.

Sent off at big prices in three career starts so far, running accordingly on each occasion and unlikely to be making a significant impact in this contest, despite first-time visor.

Failed to come up to required standard in five starts for trainer Jessica Harrington before running a career best on latest and second start for new connections at the Curragh earlier this month. Worthy of a market check.

Gelding by Es Que Love out of a Rock Of Gibraltar mare. Dam winner of one of her 22 starts but remained a 20-race maiden on turf. Possibly best watched on debut, looking at some of the opposition.

By Le Cadre Noir and is a brother to 5f-6f winner Polly Douglas. Well held on both career starts so far, both at the Curragh. Plenty to find on initial offerings.
Daughter of Dandy Man out of a Dark Angel mare. Looks vulnerable in this company looking at her first couple of efforts at Naas and earlier this month at the Curragh.

Seven-race maiden but the penny appears to be finally dropping following a number of encouraging efforts since May. Worthy of a market check.

A number of fine place finishes over the summer have resulted in a burgeoning handicap mark with the daughter of Clodivil still to get off the mark. Recent efforts overall have been positive and the filly rates a leading contender here.

Cost 15,000gns as a yearling. Dam 1m6f winner, closely related to useful winners Baghdad and Pippa Greene. Last of nine when racing too keen on debut at Tipperary on debut last month and first-time hood unlikely to spark initial improvement.

Well beaten and no impression in a couple of starts this term since returning to action in May. Well held on latest start at Naas earlier this month and still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.

Daughter of Elusive Pimpernel out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare. Temperamental dam - refused to race on no less than three occasions - winner of two of her nine Flat starts on turf, winning over 6f. Best watched on racecourse debut.

Forecasts

Cruella Dovil (11/10), Pulse Of Shanghai (7/2), Anthonysoprano (8/1), Cactus Tree (10/1), Star On A Diamond (12/1), Son And Sannie (16/1), A Delight (16/1), Simply Elusive (33/1), Midge Maisel (40/1), Strong Johnson (66/1), Realtin Fantasy (100/1), Jungle Gazelle (100/1)

Verdict

The Johnny Murtagh-trained, CRUELLA DOVIL can break from stall eight here to grab the lead, possibly having a few of these in trouble some way out. The three-year-old can get off the mark for connections at the 14th time of asking, building on a number of solid runs over the summer. Clearly better than her last run suggests, the filly can get the better of Pulse Of Shanghai who ran well on stable debut at the Curragh earlier this month and Anthonysoprano who could be a danger in first-time blinkers.
  1. Cruella Dovil
  2. Pulse Of Shanghai
  3. Anthonysoprano
