Son of Kingman from the family of Group 1 winner Bold Edge. Sixth of eight on debut over 6f in a slowly run affair and could improve now up in distance. More needed but worth keeping a note of in the betting.
Godolphin debutante for a stable in good form. Smartly bred son of Iffraaj will need a touch further in time but of obvious interest on debut. Likely type and worth a market check.

Oasis Dream colt, the first foal out of an unraced half-sister to UAE 1,000 Guineas winner Siyaadah. Moderate fourth on debut over 6f would need plenty of improvement from, but is at least bred for this extra trip.

Bred for speed and after showing pace on his second start at Newbury when upped a furlong to 7f, it's a surprise to see him again raised in distance. Big improvement needed and a likely type for handicaps after this.

Son of by Medaglia D'oro cost $1.3m as a yearling. Backed off the boards as a 30/100 favourite when fourth of fifth at Yarmouth on debut. Stable has won both renewals of this race with short price favourites and a likely improver on this surface.
Son of Golden Horn; a sixth foal and a half brother to five winners including Australian Group 1 winner Polarisation. Bred to get further in time but worth a close inspection for this stable on debut.
Lope de Vega half-brother to several winners, from the family of Prix Vermeille/Prix Ganay winner Aquarelliste. Not fancied when well held on recent debut but that came in a very smart Newmarket maiden. Better expected.

Son of Siyouni and a half-brother to winner Wiretap. Represents a stable going well but well beaten on recent Ffos Las debut. Hard to fancy in this company.

Forecasts

Vindicate (9/4), Deverell (7/2), Sun Cuisine (4/1), Protagonist (9/2), Live Your Dream (6/1), Trumpet Man (6/1), More Than A Prince (10/1), Optio (20/1), Werewolf (25/1)

Verdict

An intriguing contest with Protagonist boasting the best form on offer, but with three runs behind him there is the potential that one could improve past him. SUN CUISINE is taken to do just that and make it an unbeaten three in this race for his trainer. He's clearly been showing a lot at home and perhaps the ground didn't quite suit on his turf debut. Live Your Dream and Trumpet Man catch the eye from leading stables on debut.
  1. Sun Cuisine
