100/1 on debut in 1m maiden at The Curragh last week but slowly away and showed no promise when beating just one home. Needs considerable improvement in short space of time.

Vormir10

7/2
Stepped up on debut with pair of creditable efforts in better class maidens at this trip on soft and good ground. This represents a drop in class and looks sure to make his presence felt.

More exposed than these but ran best race to date when runner up in Killarney nursery last weekend on similar ground. That was over 1m and he was staying on well so drop down in trip a slight negative.

Best run to date on latest when 6L fourth of 14 in Galway maiden. The first and third have both won since to boost the form so repeat of that would put him in the mix.

Fifth foal. Half-sister to two-year-old winners Tafteesh (7f) and Camino Song (1m). In-form trainer having excellent season with his juveniles and needs monitoring in market in a relatively weak contest.

33/1 on Sligo debut over 6f last month but slowly away and in rear throughout beating just one home. Hard to fancy on that evidence.

Taty Gold20

Has shown no ability at big prices in pair of 7f maidens and likely one for low grade nurseries after this qualifying run.

Urban Boom42
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-13| J: S Foley| T: J P Murtagh| OR:  63
20/1
Similar moderate level of form in trio of maidens has earned him an official mark of just 63 and needs to take step a forward to make an impact.

Showed ability on second run at Sligo when staying on fourth over 6f but didn't build on that when 12L fourth at Roscommon since and trainer still searching for his first juvenile winner this season.

Horse silk
20/1
66/1 on Sligo debut but showed promise when fifth just a neck behind Be Like The Bird. 2f further today but as a sister to 1m2f winner Expense Claim it's expected to suit and looks one for the short list.

Horse silk
100/1
Tailed off last of 18 when 66/1 for Curragh debut last week and hard to make a case for on that evidence.

Horse silk
100/1
36L last of 10 on recent debut over 1m at Cork when sent off 100/1 and easy to look elsewhere.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: Chris Hayes| T: A McGuinness| OR:  55

Poor form all four runs at various trips and blinkers need to make a big difference for this 55 rated maiden.

Horse silk
50/1
Tailed off on 5f debut and no better when stepped up to this trip at Roscommon last time. Low grade handicaps look the way after this.

Forecasts

Jawbone (7/4), Bellsinthewood (5/2), Vormir (7/2), Gunmetal Jack (8/1), Urban Boom (20/1), Camisra (20/1), Be Like The Bird (25/1), Megans Beau (25/1), Eglish (50/1), Pleasecallmemayzie (50/1), Taty Gold (66/1), Dragon Man (66/1), Lefty Was Right (100/1), King Of The Ville (100/1)

Verdict

A weak opener and Jawbone won't have to be anything special to play a leading role on debut for his shrewd trainer. On form VORMIR makes most appeal and he can take advantage of the drop in class to get off the mark. Camisra showed enough on debut to suggest she can do better at this trip and rates a threat.
  1. Vormir
  2. Jawbone
  3. Camisra
