Ran a bit better than bare form suggests at Bath last time, bit keen for own good but still beaten under 3l. Repeat of that might well be good enough here, and although may not want the ground very quick, looks one of the main players today.
Regressive 3yo that would eat these for breakfast on his best form, but long time since he showed any of that. Conditions fine and arguably still the best of these on recent form, but yard a bit quiet and he does come with some risks.
Winner over 7f at Chepstow in July, the cheekpieces working the oracle, but didn't repeat the trick at Brighton last time and now takes a significant step up in trip. Questions to answer then, and others make more appeal.
Sent off 100-1 for his debut at Windsor last week and didn't beat a horse home, showing nothing in the process. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Beaten under 3l at Yarmouth two starts ago but then last at Chelmsford on latest start sets alarm bells ringing. May do better back on turf but a bit to find to challenge for top honours here.

Forecasts
Mustadun (11/10), Max Guevara (11/4), Ample Plenty (7/2), Seafaring Girl (8/1), Melo Pearl (12/1), Olaf (50/1)
This is weak and the main protagonists have some questions to answer. Mustadun would be the one to beat and even on what he's achieving at present, which isn't a lot, he'd still have to have a leading chance. However, MAX GUEVARA probably has less to prove and his Bath effort wasn't that bad. If he settles a bit better, he can come out on top. Seafaring Girl has a chance if she stays, but that is an if, and maybe Melo Pearl, despite having plenty on at these weights, can grab the bronze.
- Max Guevara
- Mustadun
- Melo Pearl
