Distance winner, beaten favourite last time out in a Naas 6f contest finishing 17th of 19. Mare is now 6lb lower than last winning mark but may have to overcome negative draw.

12-race maiden without a win in nine Flat starts on turf. Running admirably in defeat this summer going close at Redcar and Catterick over similar trips for trainer James Bethell. Market possibly the best guide on stable debut.

All wins have come on the AW with the filly still looking for a breakthrough success in 15 starts on turf. Not disgraced in recent starts but always liable to find a couple stronger. First start since leaving Adrian McGuinness.

Gained second 5f win of career and this season latest when winning with a bit in hand at Down Royal in July. Limitations exposed at the Curragh last time out off revised mark and likely to find things tough once again.

All five career wins have come on turf and has been running well in defeat in a number of starts over the summer. 10lb lower than last winning mark the mare is more than entitled to be in the mix here.

Four-race maiden. Well held in three starts since return to action in June. Others more appealing on the balance of recent sorties.

Running well in defeat in a number of starts over the summer and is clearly better than her last start suggests. Could be interesting currently running off her last winning mark.

Distance winner and successful in two of his 35 Flat starts on turf. The veteran is clearly regressing right now on the balance of a number of dismal efforts since March. 44lb lower than last winning mark and easy to oppose.

One from seven over C&D hitting the frame on a further couple of occasions. Currently racing 7lb lower than last winning mark and can be expected to go better now visor is dispensed with.

Without a win in 19 starts on turf and his last of 24 beaten over 16L at Cork over 6f earlier this month suggests the gelding is worth taking on once again.

Last win on turf came at Thirsk in a 6f handicap over two years ago for trainer John Quinn off a 27lb higher mark. Needs others to run well below par to have a chance in this.

12-race maiden, still looking for first Flat win on turf in 10 starts. Hard to see her making any significant impact.

Saves most of his best performances nowadays for the AW at Dundalk. Currently racing 34lb lower than his last winning mark on turf and not one to place a great deal of faith in here.

Verdict

A couple of Denis Hogan-trained runners catch the eye especially Down Royal winner, BAHLWAN who continued in good form with a battling effort at the Curragh earlier this month. The four-year-old is clearly improving and can get the better of stablemate Gopsies Daughter who is still regularly on the premises at the business end of proceedings. Tie A Yellow Ribbon on stable debut and C&D second of 15 last month, Associate Rock deserve further consideration.
