Four-race maiden well held on his most recent starts at the Curragh and Tipperary. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Gelding by Requinto out of a Moss Vale mare. Dam placed 5f - 7f on the AW. Appears to be doing too much in the early stages of his races as witnessed at Naas and more recently at Cork earlier this month.
Price rose from €19,000 as a yearling to 105,000gns at the April Breeze-ups. Held up on debut eventually finishing sixth of seven beaten over 10L at Down Royal last month. More can be expected soon.
Siyouni colt. Four-race maiden last of nine beaten over 17L on his latest start at the Curragh earlier this month. Market possible the best guide being one of four in the contest for respected yard.
Gelding by Zebedee out of a Refuse To Bend mare. Closely related to 1m2f winner Liffeydale Dancer, winner of one of her 15 starts on the Flat. Led on debut at the Curragh earlier this month on debut before finishing 21st of 29.
Bungle Inthejungle colt out of a King Charlemagne mare. Dam well beaten on all six career starts on the Flat including two turf defeats. Co Down yard, one winner this term.
Colt by Bungle Inthejungle out of a Windsor Knot mare. Dam, low-rated eight-race maiden on the Flat, beaten in five starts on turf. Yards newcomers often come on for first start.
Gelding by Tough As Nails out of a Trade Fair mare. Dam experienced handicapper of 33 starts. Winner between 1m and 1mf. Market possibly the best guide to chances on debut run.
Has raced in rear on all three career starts last month running between 6f and 7½f. Sent off at 100/1 on latest start at Naas, running accordingly in the process. Hard to place any faith in.
Kodiac colt. Price rose from €15,000 as a foal to €57,000 as a yearling. Broke well to lead in both career starts so far before failing to grab a place at Down Royal and Naas, both starts over 5f.
Daughter of Tough As Nails. A sister to 6f-7f winner My Silver Nails, out of a 1m winner whose dam won a bumper. Slowly away on debut at Navan last month before finishing last of eight over 5f.
Forecasts
True Motion (15/8), Phase After Phase (3/1), Quick Quick (4/1), Royal Bungle (9/1), Liquor Scholar (12/1), Ampeson (12/1), Talking Tough (14/1), Total Euphoria (20/1), Rodwill (25/1), Take My Hand (28/1), Lequinto (66/1)
Trainer Joseph O'Brien runs four here and his PHASE AFTER PHASE is clearly better than his recent start at the Curragh suggests and can get off the the mark at the fifth time of asking. The Siyouni colt can land the spoils in first-time cheekpieces ahead of newcomer and stablemate, Royal Bungle. Another from the yard, Liquor Scholar will be expected to better his debut run at Down Royal last month, while True Motion if settling better in the early stages could be a major player.
