A decent race despite the small field, and WORLD SPIRIT gets the verdict having finished a close third to a useful subsequent winner at Brighton last time despite looking unsuited to the track. He will appreciate this stiffer test, and appeals more than recent Beverley winner G For Gabrial. who may not have this race run to suit as much as he did last time. Fast Deal races for the same connections as his useful dam, Maven, and he is a potential improver now tackling a mile, having been unsuited by a drop in trip on his final qualifying start.
