Now 6lb lower than last win but operating at a much lower level of late and would need to significantly raise his game. Others preferred.
Four-race maiden ran well enough on handicap debut over 7f and kept on as though well worth a step up in trip. Down in class and a likely contender with the extra test of stamina likely to suit.
Proving a consistent performer and remains lightly raced on turf. Heads here off the back of a Thirsk win and a close fourth over this C&D and no reason she shouldn't go well again.
Had been on a consistent run of form but could never get going when tailed-off up in class and trip last time. Back to his winning grade but distance remains a query.
On a good mark at present but remains an infrequent winner. Last three starts have been very poor and remains very hard to recommend based on that.
Remains an eight-race maiden whose best run of late came in selling handicap company. Needs the step up in trip to bring a fair amount of improvement.
Scored back-to-back wins in August 2017 but without a success since. Still on last winning mark and form this year has been well below that level. Others therefore preferred.
Just two wins from 36 starts doesn't inspire confidence and on a long losing run. Ran second two starts back but very disappointing at Leicester last time. Needs to bounce back for drop in trip.
Showed some promise at the beginning of 2018 for Brian Meehan but has largely struggled for this stable. Unlikely to be breaking his maiden tag on start number 26.
Boasts 19 career wins but on a long losing streak now. Given a chance by the handicapper with a 6lb reduction and has winning form here, however he's been below par for a while now.
Best effort from six poor starts came in a claimer and very well beaten in three starts since. Cheekpieces added but easy to look elsewhere.
15-race maiden has been heavily defeated and in very poor form of late. First-time blinkers added but impossible to recommend from 1lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Blyton Lass (15/8), Grey Berry (9/2), Bigbadboy (6/1), Melabi (8/1), Fitzy (9/1), King Of Naples (10/1), Bromance (10/1), Splash Of Verve (16/1), The Mekon (20/1), Smart Lass (20/1), Prince Consort (22/1), Outlaw Torn (25/1), Jagerbond (40/1), Stainforth Swagger (50/1)
THE MEKON drops in grade following a promising handicap debut and the big step up in distance could also bring a big step forwards. Blyton Lass is in form and reliable and that's worthy traits in a race lacking any depth. Fitzy still has to prove he stays but has been previously consistent back at this suitable grade.
