Won on good to firm ground at Bath last September and reasonable claims at the weight from a 3lb lower mark. However, he's been out of sorts lately and, having finished last in three of his last four starts, he's hard to recommend on these terms.
Held his form well and, as he's set to race from 3lb below his last winning mark, he merits consideration for a sporting punt despite the long losing run. Jockey booking is a good move and, as a previous C&D winner, there's a lot to like
1lb below his only previous winning mark on turf (also won a novice stakes on Tapeta at Wolverhampton) and merits a betting check as he's down in grade from last time. His inconsistency is off-putting though.
Ran well here last August when tried in a visor for the first time; and headgear of some sort has been ever present since; but wins on turf have been elusive. Good run from this mark at Sandown latest but consistency is also open to scrutiny.
Stablemate of Water Diviner and not much to split them on the pick of their form. Recent levels do suggest this fellow might be playing second fiddle though.
First try over a mile since his seasonal debut when third of seventeen in May. He's now 6lb lower and has been regressive since but might finally be able to exploit the handicapper's leniency now he's back over this trip. Interesting if supported.
Lightly raced and arguably posted his best effort to date when second over C&D in June. Only raced twice in handicaps since and not disgraced either time. Didn't quite see out the 1m2f at Newbury last time but strong claims back now back in trip.
Didn't make it to a racecourse last year but posted solid form in three starts in two novice stakes and one handicap since his belated debut in April. Gelded prior to his latest run but failed to justify strong support so now has something to prove.
Unexposed handicapper who ran well with an improved effort here from the same mark last month and has more to offer. Tries cheekpieces for the first time and is one to monitor closely in the betting.
Won well in a first-time visor at Lingfield in March and been consistent in low-key races since. Likes to make the running but often been vulnerable to a late sucker punch and will always need luck on his side given his style of running.

JACK D'OR is the suggestion in a tricky race where most come here with something to prove. The selection is less exposed than the majority and ran his best race up to press when second over C&D back in June. He has little to fear from the trip, track or state of the ground. Kingston Kurrajong has held his form well lately and, given his long losing run, could be good value to make the frame, while Delicate Kiss ran one of her better races when last seen and also merits consideration. Noble Fox has scope to improve and, along with Keeper's Choice and Water Diviner is another who can go close if he can step things up a notch or two.
