Winner 12 months ago at Sligo over 1m4½f off a 5lb lower mark, that remains his only score from 11 runs and has been toiling this term. Needs to find more over new trip.
Winning handicap debut last month Limerick (1m4½f, good) and since run creditable race at Galway Festival from 1lb higher mark than this. Scope for better upped in trip.
1m5f Navan maiden winner in June, New Approach colt has run well enough in two handicaps since over shorter and may have more to offer now having his stamina stretched out.
Just 1-20 but mostly running with credit this summer, runner-up last two starts here (1m3f, good) and at Tipperary (1m4½f, soft to heavy). Merits a crack at this longer distance in current mood.
Missed 615 days prior to returning at Hamilton in June (beaten favourite). Run very well since over hurdles and off the mark in that sphere at Sligo recently. Major player back on the level if translating improvement across.
Has a couple of wins over timber on his record but remains a maiden in this sphere and will need to improve on previous best efforts to get off the mark now.
Scored over 1m3½f on heavy ground at Limerick in April 2018, his only win so far on the Flat; well held all three recent starts in this code however and makes little appeal at the moment.
Big prices in all four starts in maidens, yet to finish within hailing distance of a winner. Makes handicap debut going right up in distance and, to be fair, this isn't the strongest race.
Couple of likeable efforts in handicaps at Fairyhouse and Ballinrobe this summer, filly can possibly be forgiven lesser showing around tight Tramore track since. Unfavoured on these terms but not impossible she'll offer something.

Forecasts
Building Bridges (9/4), Danehill Quest (3/1), Jumellea (5/1), Give Battle (5/1), Mastermind (7/1), Marlborough Sounds (8/1), Indian Eye (20/1), Athenry Boy (20/1), Sunnyhill Lad (33/1), Big Bad Loans (33/1)
Having missed a long spell Give Battle has thrived over hurdles recently and will have a major say in this if able to translate that improved form to the Flat. Preference however is for BUILDING BRIDGES, winner of a 1m5f Navan maiden winner in June and far from disgraced in handicaps over shorter trips since. This stamina test can eke out further improvement from the New Approach colt. Jumellea is another possible improver while Danehill Quest arrives in fine fettle.
