A case can be made for each of the seven contenders but GINISTRELLI gets the nod in the hope the gelding operation and a mid-term break will make a difference. His fifth to Telecaster at Windsor reads well in the context of this race. Stamford Raffles did it well over C&D last time and has every chance off just 3lb higher, and Beyond The Clouds is fascinating having proved himself good over hurdles before winning at Ripon last time. The remaining four all have claims, with Fox Vardy and Dramatic Device possibly prinicpal among the quartet.
