Winner of two of his 12 starts over the larger obstacles the Scorpion gelding clearly better than his last couple of starts suggest. The Grade B Paddy Power and a Grade A contest at Leopardstown appeared beyond him but this is a big drop in class.
Not seen for 12 months when returning to action at the Galway festival earlier this month. Fifth of 13 the gelding ran as well as could be expected. May find a couple of better handicapped sorts in the line-up.
Course winner who won over this trip when getting off the mark over fences at the second attempt in a Tramore beginners contest last month. Can be expected to improve on that effort.
C&D winner of the contest two years ago running off a 14lb lower mark. Veteran, still winning in December but has generally struggled in a number of starts since May. Others preferred.
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Still to get off the mark in 12 starts over fences but the Rakti gelding has ran well enough to hit the frame on seven occasions. Solid jumper but liable to find a couple stronger.
Sending out mixed messages over the summer with a decent effort usually followed by a below-par show. Well held on sole handicap chase start at Ballinrobe and may need a little more time.
Off the mark for respected connections at the seventh time of asking over fences when landing a Wexford handicap last month beating My Manekineko 1L. Penalty for that win may not be enough to halt further progress.
C&D winner at this festival 12 months ago when landing the spoils off a 6lb lower mark. That win remains the Stowaway geldings only success in six chase starts so far. One of four in the race and market likely to be the best guide.
Looking in good shape to land a second career win over fences when falling two at Wexford last month. Beaten over hurdles since but likely to give a good account of himself back chasing.
Won Limerick handicap chase last July off 10lb lower mark and was returning from a long break when running well last time at Clonmel before running well in defeat again at Killarney over a similar trip last month. Place claims.
Won for the second time over fences when landing a Wexford handicap over 2m in May off a 10lb lower mark. Beaten in to fourth at the same venue last month in a race that has produced the third and sixth to win since.

Forecasts
Act In Time (9/2), Successor (11/2), Feeling The Love (6/1), Smithscorner (7/1), Powersbomb (7/1), Das Mooser (7/1), Black Scorpion (8/1), Perfect Leader (9/1), Mega Mindy (12/1), Roconga (14/1), Stormey (14/1), Tisamystery (25/1)
Owner J P McManus could hold the cards here with four runners with the best of those appearing to be SUCCESSOR who got off the mark at the seventh time of asking over fences when landing a Wexford handicap last month beating My Manekineko 1L. The 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop the Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding as he gets the better of Feeling The Love and Act In Time, also in the green and gold colours. Tisamystery and Perfect Leader could emerge as lively outsiders.
