Has won three times over hurdles which he returned to last time at Stratford (2m2½f) to finish fourth of nine. Has been eased 4lb by the handicapper. Stepping up in trip where he still needs to prove his stamina. One to watch for now.
Broke his maiden at the sixth attempt over hurdles last time at Uttoxeter (2m4f) in a 14 runner field after going off at 50/1. Has been raised 6lb so will need to produce more, however, he is one to consider now he has his first win.
Was successful for the first time at Ffos Las (2m4f) two starts back. Was unable to follow it up at Stratford (2m6f) as he had to settle for third of 14. Remains off the same mark here. Tongue-tie on for the first time. One for the shortlist.
Still a maiden after eight starts, however, he was only 1L away last time when coming home second of nine over this C&D in what was his best appearance to date. Has only gone up 1lb. Big chance over the same C&D.
Came close to opening success on his second handicap start where he was second of 14 at Newton Abbot (2m1f). Returned for the first time time since a wind-op last time to finish fifth of 14 at Uttoxeter (2m4f). One to watch.
Has not been able to hit the frame so far in his nine starts. He was 12th of 16 on his latest effort at Ballinrobe (2m1½f). This will be his first start for his new yard. Needs to improve a lot to be in the mix.
Scored in a point-to-point earlier this year but has failed to hit the frame in his four runs under Rules this season. He was fourth of 11 here on his last start (2m½f). Is up 3lb but this step up in distance may well help. Each-way claims.
Form has been mixed since joining handicap company. He was third of 14 over this distance last time at Uttoxeter, only beaten 1¾L. Has gone up 3lb and visor on for the first time. If he can build upon his latest start, he can be in the mix.
Hit the frame on his debut at Uttoxeter over 2m but since then he has been well held on his five starts, including latest at Newton Abbot (2m1f) where he was 22L away when coming home fourth of 12. Others appeal more.
A three-time C&D winner here. Was third of 14 last time at this track over 2m7f. Has dropped down 2lb in the weights and is back down to what is a more suitable trip. Has to be respected at this course.
Was successful in a point-to-point last year but is still looking for his maiden victory under Rules. He has been a long way down the field on his two starts this year, both of which have come at Cartmel over 2m1f. Up in trip. Needs to improve.
A maiden after 23 starts. Has had three attempts over hurdles this season, all of which have come at Uttoxeter where he has been well held. His latest run was over 2m7½f. Down in trip and cheekpieces on for the first time. Hard to fancy.
Has had four attempts this season but only finished on one of those starts and that was on his latest outing at Newton Abbot (2m2½f) where he was seventh of 15. Down 3lb but he is hard to make a case for.
Has won twice over hurdles but his last success was in December 2017. Went off as the 11/4 favourite on his latest start at Uttoxeter (2m) but could only come home seventh of 10. First run for his new yard here. Others make more of an appeal.
A three-time winner on the Flat but has been unable to prevail so far in National Hunt. Has shown some modest form this season, including when fourth of 11 last time at Stratford (2m2½f). Needs to improve over hurdles.

Forecasts
North Star Oscar (9/2), Shanksforamillion (6/1), Akkapenko (7/1), Commander Miller (7/1), Global Anchor (8/1), Caveat Emptor (8/1), The Accountant (10/1), Fiercly Forgie (12/1), Can You Believe It (18/1), G'day Aussie (20/1), Oldabbey Bridge (20/1), Outlaw Jack (20/1), Scaramucci (25/1), Royal Beekeeper (25/1), Plenty Of Butty (40/1), Percy Thrower (40/1)
COMMANDER MILLER was only 1L away in second place over this C&D last time and he remains open to further improvement so take the gelding from a top yard to get off the mark here. Oldabbey Bridge was a surprise winner at Uttoxeter but he has to be respected this time, despite his 5lb rise in the weights, while North Star Oscar can finish in the frame on the evidence of his last two starts over hurdles.
- Commander Miller
- Oldabbey Bridge
- North Star Oscar
