Found 0-90 company too hot on latest but prior to that was in excellent form winning three out of four including twice over C&D. Should get the strong pace he enjoys and looks a major player.
Smart handicap sprinter as recently as last year but efforts over the pat 12 months have been way off the level of old and despite dropping 29lb in that time is passed over until showing more.
Likes it here and his placed efforts at the track this month have been his best efforts in 2019.. Below par last week and has had a very busy schedule of late but claims on return to this venue.
Front-runner who is two from five at the course. Having a profitable year and should give it a good go but may have competition for the lead.
Last run in June can be forgiven on soft ground but won on only previous visit here and on his day can take some pegging back under this regular rider.
Too keen after sluggish start at Yarmouth last time but previous second here when going from the front behind a progressive sprinter puts him in the mix and coming back to this course could help.
Beaten in a seller on latest and still 4lb higher than last win on turf. Seems best now on the tapeta at Newcastle and others preferred on balance
Ran up to best when chasing home in-form rival here on latest and relatively lightly raced on turf so could build on that, and sole win on grass was here last year.

Forecasts
George Dryden (7/2), Union Rose (4/1), Storm Melody (5/1), La Fortuna (6/1), Little Palaver (6/1), Naadirr (13/2), King Crimson (8/1), Blaine (8/1), Doc Sportello (10/1), Pea Shooter (20/1)
STORM MELODY was in too deep here last time but back down in grade in a veterans contest, there is every chance of bouncing back to the form he showed to win twice here this summer. If breaking better than last time George Dryden will be a threat while La Fortuna completes the short list.
- Storm Melody
- George Dryden
- La Fortuna
