Has made the frame in all three visits here. Front-runner who has not quite been at best this season but this the lowest grade he has raced in and if the first time visor has the effect, could take some catching.
Not the force of old but hinted at possible return to form when not having a clear run over C&D last time and handicapper has given him a chance with a further 3lb drop.
Wind surgery and switch to front running tactics have transformed him in last two runs, making all on good to soft at Salisbury for an easy success last week. 3lb well in today and yard enjoying a good spell.
Kempton winner in April but best run this term was probably when strong finishing second over C&D in June. Benefited from strong pace that day but may well get similar scenario here.
Maiden who did much the best of those ridden prominently when fourth here in June but failed to recover from slow start last time and best form leaves him with something to find.
Regular visitor here with four wins from 23 starts. Place claims on best of 2019 form but likely to find some of these have better treated now.
Sole win was gained in 2017 and hasn't shown enough in five goes for current yard to suggest he will double that total here despite the return to this longer trip probably in his favour.
Split Takeonefortheteam and Gates Pass when third over C&D in June and didn't run too badly when third at Lingfield last time but even those efforts leave her with bit more to do in this stronger race.
Losing run on turf stretches back to 2017 and despite trying various trips this term, hasn't looked like rectifying that and yet to win in eight previous runs here.
Two best efforts this term were when runner-up at this track and last weeks below par run can be forgiven as the good to soft ground on that occasion is not his preferred surface. Could conceivably bounce back here at a price.
Still a maiden on turf but has shown a bit more on two latest runs though habit of starting slowly could be a problem for his low draw.
Three career wins have been on the AW and turf form is some way below that. Not hard to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Cuttin' Edge (7/4), Sir Plato (5/1), Enzo (6/1), Zefferino (8/1), Silverturnstogold (8/1), Takeonefortheteam (10/1), Edge (12/1), Accomplice (16/1), Red Gunner (16/1), Mister Musicmaster (16/1), Mabo (20/1), Outer Space (20/1), Gates Pass (20/1), Medici Moon (25/1)
Cuttin' Edge will be popular after his Salisbury win a week ago but narrow preference is for SIR PLATO who is taken to take advantage of this drop in class. In the hope the return to this track could inspire him Red Gunner could bounce back and is taken to fill the frame.
- Sir Plato
- Cuttin' Edge
- Red Gunner
