Completed a hat-trick of course wins here last July, but form since has been underwhelming, for all he fared a little better here on his latest start. On a good mark if refinding old spark, but still risky.
Sole success came over C&D in September and she has been runner-up three times since over further. Running consistently well in handicaps this summer, and shouldn't be far away, for all she's vulnerable to less exposed rivals.
Won at Beverley in April, and consistent since without showing any further progress. Needed riding along some way out at Brighton last time, and possible that he will race more sweetly now tried in blinkers.
Stoutly-bred filly who built on 1m AW maiden win when runner-up on Bath handicap bow after an absence, and again looked in need of a stiffer test when a close third at Lingfield (1m5f) last time. Would benefit from a solid gallop at this trip.
Progressing steadily, and built on previous promise when landing a 1¼m handicap here last time. Bred to stay further, and should take the beating if progressing as expected.
Forecasts
Knowing (11/8), Fraser Island (15/8), Albanita (9/2), Potters Lady Jane (8/1), Bartholomew J (33/1)
KNOWING is one of a trio of three-year-olds to focus on, and he looks the most progressive having won over 1¼m here last time. As a son of Pour Moi, he ought to improve further at this trip, and gets the verdict over the blinkered Fraser Island and Albanita, who would surely prefer a stiffer test.
