Out of a well-related 7f Listed winner from family of very smart but ungenuine performer Dead Certain. Shaped well when third of 9 to Angel of Delight in similar event at Newmarket, and sets a fair form standard, with improvement likely.

Dubawi half-sister to useful US 1m winner Carnival Colors out of a Grade 1 placed half-sister to dual Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic winner Royal Delta. Makes plenty of appeal for yard which is 2-9 with 2-y-o newcomers here in recent years.
Golden Horn filly who shaped as if needing the experience when a place and ½L behind Amber Island on debut at Newmarket. Could easily turn the tables with benefit of that experience.
Galileo half-sister to a couple of 1m winners. Hinted at ability when 10¾L fourth of 6 to Wasaayef on Newmarket debut, but looks more of a long-term prospect on that showing.
Boasts an ordinary pedigree, and cost just 3,000 gns. Hasn't beaten a rival in two starts to date, and makes no appeal at all at this level.
Night of Thunder half-sister to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Sand Share out of a 1¼m winner, herself a full-sister to very smart 1¼m-1½m winner Zambezi Sun. Needs a market check given yard is 2-11 with 2-y-o debutants this season.

Forecasts

Amber Island (11/8), Pocket Square (9/4), Festive Star (7/2), Dubai Life (6/1), Oh Mary Oh Mary (10/1), Itmusthavebeenlove (16/1), Lily Bonnette (250/1)

Verdict

POCKET SQUARE needs to be useful to land this on debut, but Roger Charlton turned out Quadrilateral to score at the first attempt in these colours at Newbury on Saturday, which increases confidence, and this daughter of Nigh of Thunder has just about the nicest pedigree in the field. She gets a tentative nod over Festive Star and Amber Island, who were separated by a narrow margin with fourth and third at Newmarket recently. The former appeals as having the most long-term scope of that pair.
