Was successful at Doncaster (1m2f) earlier this year but since then his form has declined. Could only finish sixth of eight on his latest run at Sandown (1m2f). Stepping up in trip but has won over 1m3f on the AW. Has to be respected off this mark.

Won at Brighton (1m4f) three starts back but has been unable to follow up in two runs since then where he has been fancied on both occasions. Had one horse behind him last time in a 10 runner field at Epsom (1m4f). Needs to bounce back.

Two of his three wins have come at this track, including one over this C&D earlier this season. Was at the very rear of the field last time at Epsom (1m4f) in a five runner contest. Remains off the same mark so he has to show more here.

Scored over this C&D last time to break his maiden at the seventh attempt. He was staying on well at the finish which suggests there could be more to come. Has been raised 3lb in the weights. Leading contender.

Remains a maiden after six starts, however, he has twice been narrowly denied his opening victory, including on latest run at Newbury (1m2f) where he finished third of 13, beaten by just a neck. Steps up in trip here. One to consider.

A C&D winner who was successful at Bath over this distance earlier this season. Was third of nine last time at Newbury (1m4f). Has been eased 1lb since that run and is dropping down in trip slightly. She is worth considering.

Still a maiden after eight runs. Showed some promise in the early stages of his career as a novice but seems to have taken a big step backwards this season. Could only finish eighth of 10 last time at Doncaster (1m4f). Others appeal more.

Forecasts

Zoffee (5/4), Tammooz (5/2), King Of The Sand (8/1), Miss M (8/1), Central City (12/1), El Borracho (16/1), Tribal Commander (20/1)

Verdict

ZOFFEE got off the mark at the seventh attempt last time over this C&D. A 3lb rise in the weights isn't likely to be enough to stop her from scoring again as she has been much better over this distance so take her to repeat her recent success. Tammooz has shown his maiden success is not too far away. He may have to wait a little longer but expect to see him go close again, while Miss M will be suited by this slight drop down in distance and should be in contention at the finish.
