C&D winner back in 2017 but that's his only turf success in 20 attempts. Slowly away and disappointed in both runs since absence and doesn't look particularly well handicapped on turf at present.
Sole win came back in 2017 although lightly raced since. Showed some promise at Haydock on heavy ground he's really struggled in his other four starts since joining this yard. Others look more reliable.
Has run into some smart form and finally converted some narrow defeats into just career win number four from 53 starts over a mile on soft at Ayr. Remains on a good mark off just 1lb higher and although he favours Ayr, likely to go well again.
Things have started to click now for his new yard and proved progressive in taking back-to-back races over 7.5f at Beverley. Up 5lb but overcame a troubled passage last time and showed a tremendous attitude previously. Likely to improve again.
Now 12lb below last win this time last year and racing to a consistent standard this time around. Gets a welcome drop in grade and can't be ruled out. However he does seem better in small fields and may be vulnerable late.
Has followed wind surgery with three improved efforts and he remains lightly raced. Yet to win in six starts on turf but he'll be suited by the step back up to his optimum distance and could be involved.
Remains 5lb higher than when winning over a mile at Redcar in May and matched that level over the same C&D last start. Both came on quick ground and her two runs in between suggest she wouldn't want rain. Place chance if it stays dry.
Returned from a 568-day absence with two promising close efforts at Redcar and Ripon but well below that in two starts since. May find it tough to break his maiden tag here.
Inconsistent in three runs since wind surgery with two poor runs either side of a Thirsk third. Isn't looking the most reliable and will struggle to dominate in a field this size.
Generally consistent this season before bombing out at Chelmsford last time. Wouldn't want rain and after failing to win in five turf starts, he remains a touch high in the handicap.
Four-race maiden showed promise on her second start but has been well below that in two efforts since. On a perfectly workable mark on handicap debut if she is able to return to that best form, but that does remain a question.
Remains a maiden following six starts and hasn't been seeing out his races (including back at this trip last time) in three efforts this year. Down 3lb but others look more convincing.
Yet to match the form he showed when second on season and stable debut at Yarmouth. Looked an unconvincing stayer on his two previous tries at this far and others preferred.
Competitive off marks in the mid 80s in his pomp but his last win came in 2016. Handicap mark has tumbled as a result and he's racing well enough of late to give him a place hope.
Last five wins have come on the AW and without a turf success since 2015. Below par the last twice and questions remain returning to this surface.
Remains a six-race maiden who has raced to a consistent level on the AW but has struggled to make any impression in his previous two turf runs. Hard to fancy off this current mark.
Has yet to be beaten by less than 10L in six starts so far and beaten by 22L the last twice. Looks well short of the required standard in this company.

Any rain would be a benefit to Strong Steps who is hard to ignore following his fine run of form. There was a lot to like about the manner of the two victories of RED SEEKER and running off a strong pace, in a big field should again bring out the best in his hat-trick bid. Poet's Pride is improved of late and also will be suited by the step back up in distance and a more truly run race than he faced last time.
