Victorious over this trip at Catterick (good-to-soft) on his penultimate start and ran well when a close second over the same C&D subsequently. One to note with a leading amateur in the saddle.
Placed on the AW earlier this year but absent since finishing fifth in an amateur riders contest over this trip at Wolverhampton in April. Worth a check in the market following a break.
Registered a neck victory in a 6f handicap at Catterick (good-to-soft) on his penultimate start. Disappointed there subsequently however and interesting to see how he fares.
Good third in a 6f handicap at Hamilton (good) in June. Drop in trip should suit having finished eighth over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-soft) later that month.
Running well in the main this campaign but slightly disappointing when fifth on heavy going at Ayr (6f) recently. Interesting contender if putting latest disappointment behind him.
Decent effort in finishing fourth in a 7f handicap at Wolverhampton last month. Drop in trip no issue and market support would be notable on return to turf.
Stepped up on return from a short break when finishing a short-head second in a 6f handicap at Newcastle last week. Raised 2lb for that effort and is of interest on this occasion.
Dual winner over this trip at Yarmouth in the spring but held in recent starts including when fourth of 15 at Thirsk (6f, soft) last time out.
Placed over 7f at Wolverhampton in May but struggled in an amateur riders event at Leicester (7f, good-to-firm) on only subsequent start.
Improved effort in finishing fourth in a 7f handicap at Ayr (good) a month ago. Dropping in trip racing off amark 13lb lower than for his latest success.
Fair eighth in a Class 7 handicap over 7f on the AW at Lingfield on Tuesday. Previously narrowly beaten over the same trip at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) and is chasing a first turf success.
Nine time winner but out of form since finishing third over 5f at Redcar (good) in June. Best form has come over the minimum distance.
Handicap mark is falling fofllowing some moderate efforts in recent times. Probably best watched having finished 14th of 15 under this rider at Leicester (7f, good-to-firm) last time out.
Out of form in the main since winning this contest 12 months ago. Well handicapped on that form and market support would be notable despite racing from out of the weights.
C&D winner was beaten 7L when finishing ninth of 11 over this trip at Catterick (good-to-soft) on his return from a break recently. Others make more appeal racing from out of the handicap.
Showed little in three starts in novice/maiden company including over 5f here in June. Gelded since and more needed from out of the weights on handicap debut.
Eight race maiden finished last of six on soft ground at Musselburgh (5f) recently. Racing from out of the handicap and cheekpieces worn for the first time that day are retained.
