One of three in this race for last year's winning handler, this previous C&D winner showed signs of a return to form over 6f last time when an improved third. Drop back in trip no problem and should be thereabouts with champion on board.
Only win in 14 starts came over 5f on AW at Wolverhampton and went very close there last time out. 1lb higher but has run respectably all turf starts this campaign and decent claimer claims 5lb.
Third runner in career of Britain's youngest trainer. Only win in three seasons on these shores came at Chelmsford in March 2018. Lost his way last season for Paul Howling and makes debut for new connections here following 99-day break.
Returned from near five-month break to bolt up at Thirsk last month by four lengths and was creditable runner-up off 7lb higher mark at Brighton last week. Clearly in good heart and another bold show looks on the cards.
Hasn't won on turf for four years. Raced unsuccessfully on AW last year and now returns to turf some 17lb lower than when third at Sandown last July. Obviously well handicapped on that form but needs to stage a revival.
Won over 7f at Newcastle in March and was runner-up over C&D last time, suggesting he can win races as a sprinter. Remains relatively unexposed so well worth a check for market interest especially with world-class rider booked.
Been a regular here this summer and won over C&D in July off 4lb lower mark. Two moderate efforts here of late however and has questions to answer on that evidence.
Yard has respectable 17% strike rate here. Battled to neck victory in 5f Musselburgh handicap last month but well beaten in both subsequent starts. Much more needed.
Yard among the winners over last fortnight. All three wins have come on AW and is 0-12 on turf, although has run a few fair races in defeat. 3lb lower than when second at Brighton penultimate start and should not be far away.
1-32 career record tells its own story, and that win came in modest Brighton sprint handicap in June 2017. On a long losing run since and victory here would come as a big surprise.
