Ran as well as could be expected last time out off a career high mark having previously won a Salisbury two starts prior. Will be suited by any softening of the ground and one to consider.

Well handicapped on old form and showed there was still life in the ten-year-old when just held last time out over course and distance (albeit in slowly run race). Enjoys some cut so as fair a chance as any.

In no sort of form at present and was tailed off on his latest run at Windsor late last month. Step back up in trip is a positive but plenty prove.

Dual course and distance winner who seems at home on any surface. Still room for improvement and although up in the weights here, looks to have a fair chance of following up recent success.

Confirmed front runner who put in one of his best performances of the season last time out over a marathon trip at Lingfield. Step back should be no problem and all surfaces come alike. Leading contender.

Still a maiden on the Flat but ran with some promise when with John Butler last season. Pulled up at Fakenham over hurdles before failing to land a blow on the level last time out at Kempton; reasonable chance at weights but other make more appeal.

Bounced back to some sort of form last time out at Ffos Las and is closely matched with Jacob Cats on their run last month over course and distance. Chance on best of his form and clearly in good heart at present. Chances.

Returned from a break to score well at Nottingham last month over 1m6f. Stepping up again and capable of improvement but not the most consistent which needs factoring into any price taken.

Won over 1m4f at this in July before confirming her well being with a decent effort in defeat next time out at Bath (1m6f). Would need to be at the top of her game to win this but is clearly in good order and one to consider.

His sole success in a Flat race on turf came back in September 2014. Has been well held on all four Flat runs this season, including when seventh of 10 over this C&D last time. Others appeal more.

Fair form when with Richard Fahey last season but has been below that level over hurdles and one the flat for new connections. Obvious chance on best of form but needs to put some poor recent efforts behind him.

Has put in the occasional useful performance on the flat (and over hurdles of late). Not hard to pass over at these weights but has run well at this track in the past so not easy to totally rule out.

Atomic Jack (3/1), Master Grey (4/1), So Near So Farhh (5/1), Make Good (5/1), War Drums (9/1), Rosie Royale (10/1), Jacob Cats (12/1), Noble Behest (14/1), Arty Campbell (18/1), Norab (22/1), Nordenfelt (33/1), Sweetest Smile (33/1), Mustaaqeem (66/1)

Verdict

ROSIE ROYALE is in very good form at the moment, winning at this track on her penultimate start before showing improvement when not beaten far when stepped up in trip last time out. Atomic Jack is another in good recent form and if given an enterprising ride, this confirmed front runner may be hard to peg back. Arty Campbell showed signs he was returning to form and if able to build on a solid effort last time out then he has the right to be in the mix.
  1. Rosie Royale
  2. Arty Campbell
  3. Master Grey
